Getting off topic, but... Commercial fusion is still a ways off, but we're getting there, albeit slowly. Check out this article from last fall about it. Last I heard the longest self sustaining, controlled reaction lasted a few seconds.

I was dissappointed by 2061 (the third book). You could skip it entirely and not miss anything important to the series. 3001 was much better.

A former employer was setting up a VPN with a partner company in another city. Their Linux guy sent me a fully configured gateway for our side of the connection. He shipped it in a box with a few torn off pieces of cardboard as padding. The shipper (FedEx, I think) managed to destroy one of the ethernet cards during shipping. He sent me a replacement the next day, packaged even worse. It got beat up so bad I needed a hammer to get the cover back on the case.

My French is a little rusty, but doesn't this say, "This product causes mouth sickness?" If it does, I'm confused.

I flipped out at the end of my third year in college, decided I'd had it with school, and got a programming job. Almost 4 years later I'm still flipping out! Drugs (legal ones, at least) can help, if you don't mind the side effects (many psychiatric drugs cause reduced sex drive).

Plenty of money, depending on where you work. Of course, where I work it all goes to pay the department head's $200K salary and overinflated bonus.
