  2. How to change things? on Interviews: Ask Derek Khanna About Government Regulations and Technology · · Score: 5, Interesting

This question is a little broader than just copyright reform, but I'll ask it anyway. Do you have ideas, short of a revolution, on how do the American people can fix the system when the people capable of making change possible are corrupted by corporate lobbyists against any changes? Voting them out isn't even an option because another of the same ilk will just replace the ousted politician.

  5. Easy solution on New Sony Patent Blocks Second-hand Games · · Score: 1

Do not buy anything with Sony's name on it. Cast your vote with your spending dollars. If enough people oppose this, it will hit Sony where it hurts. Of course if most people don't care, Sony will probably get away with it and set a new low for the industry.

  17. Fair point on Who Cares If Samsung Copied Apple? · · Score: 3, Insightful

The article makes a fair point. If everyone is allowed to copy everyone else (and they already are anyway including Apple), the only way for a company to distinguish itself is to innovate faster than the competition can copy. This actually promotes innovation, not stifle it.
