He's on the opposite side of the political spectrum as the source you have issues with, and is an authority in places ot know such things, *and* he said this stuff under oath to Congress.
But the main point is that illegal aliens who have kids in America ARE NOT COMMITTING TAX FRAUD ANYMORE!
They are literally being handed potentially TWENTY biLLION dollars ANNUALLY, just for being here,ILLEGALLY and having kids they can't afford. All at $6,000 a pop per mother ($2,000 per kid up to 3). TIMES FOUR for the four years they can backdate!
Just wait! by 2025, our cars will all have cameras and AIs whom will choose to communicate via flashing head lights in Morse Code. Not because they HAVE to (it'll be way less efficient for them!) but because of *our* annoyance factor! It will be the first sign we have amalgamated sentient AIs among us;-)
For better or for worst, those aren't one-man operations, either, but mostly run by foundations with overarching missions and established donors or corporations with deep pockets. They utilize the GPL not as a freedom device but as a control: OPEN SOURCE YOUR CODE UNDER THE GPL *or* PAY US LOTS OF MONEY FOR A COMMERCIAL LICENSE [if we even let you! wahahahaa!]
If *only* the Slashdot business people would emulate the play of TurboTax and remove the fucking Beta Slashdot, this site and community would be a lot better off! It's been an entire year since the forcing of Beta event, and I am once again going to boycott Slashdot for a week again, because as far as I know, the situation hasn't improved and an impending beta move *still threatens to tear this community apart!
They are making things right tomorrow by upgrading every Dexluxe owner for free and putting back the features in next year's version. The CEO also gave a very sincere apology.
And the Mexicans, too! They just announced in the Senate that an illegal alien can come to America, claim they have 4 children in a foreign land (no proof needed!) and collect Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for FOUR BACKDATED YEARS AT ONCE for a total of $24,000 and $6,000 every year thereafter!!!
The problem is that this fool licensed GnuPG under the GPL license. No business in their right mind would finance him to build a project using it, as then that software would have to be GPL'd, too.
I think he should develop an MIT licensed version and see how that does.
