It's fucking bizarre. I'd really like to know his motivation for talking to himself. Anyhow we can assume he's not a heterosexual man because even if Delores is the hottest, I can't think of a woman on that show that I'd throw out of bed.
If the internet hasn't lied to me.
When I learned how computers work I did a bunch of googling to see how much I could make on my own. I can make a cpu out of transistors I can make a transistor But I would have to carefully choose all of my homemade transistors if I was going to make a cpu and their electrical characteristics could conceivably change at any time. Interesting side note. I first learned how transistors actually worked from old classified military videos about transistors and you could hear the excitement in the voice of the narrator. Nobody with a clue would ever act like an IC was not a huge deal.
If you feel so strongly why didn't you bother to respond to the other 9600 bad leaf posts that don't accuse anyone of being desperate shills clinging to th3 collapse of their business model? Go make me a toothpaste transistor bitch.
Yes it's difficult on both high and low levels. For him to act like it's chill because it's something people do at home.... and for him to pretend to be a regular Slashdot poster Please.
Sadly I can't find a good source in the amount of time I promised I'd limit myself to looking Here https://hackaday.com/2011/03/1... I think you may have a better time including germanium doping in your search but you have to understand i only allow myself a limited amount of time to respond to posts I make in bad faith. Unfortunately yours happens to be cool.
There is no way you're this dumb and yet posting on slashdot unless someone paid you. I can make a transistor at home out of toothpaste but I could never dependably build much out of them because they're crude and inconsistent. I might be able to litho a primitive IC but I can't make a 10nm wafer and I certainly couldn't design and arrange it's components with the efficiency of intel or AMD
I have no idea why you made this post or who paid you. Are the Chinese paying you?
The subsidies are there to allow the industry to develop and become efficient. It's not depending on how things go, it's the entire intent of the program. Since solar prices have been coming down I think things are looking to go fine.
The energy density of oil is a property that makes it valuable in certain applications. Not to mention it's non-energy applications. I say save it for those applications and get over to renewables.
Here I thought I was going to disagree with you. The oil companies will reduce production and charge more per unit. I doubt they'll have the sort of short term profits they get these days but the benefit to everyone is that there will be gas in the ground for us in the coming centuries and they can pump it out then. If you think about it they're selling earth's oil far below it's real value and pocketing the profits.
Though I dislike google's particular style of diversity
discounting a fantastic candidate because "most women wouldn't be good at that..." But what about the one who is?
My first hand experience with various unusual engineers, ones that have some combination of major traits that you'll probably never work with again. They usually bring a lot of value to whatever project they're working on. I don't know if it's because they had to be better to get where they are now or because they're bringing something different to the team. But diversity in engineering teams is wonderful when you can get it.
Google is how you don't get diversity it's fake and transparent as fuck and if I was say a black guy and I needed a job or a career I'd take my black guy job at google and my black guy bux but I'd stick a black bullet point on my resume and gtfo once I felt I could. Sure I'd be the black guy from google at my next job but that's a lot better than being everyone's diversity project.
Anyone who uses the words right and left and refuses to discuss the details is a moron or one of the disingenuous ring leaders who tells said people how to think.
See this is the thing. We don't know IF there are any interstellar species in the universe. We know that if they do exist and they made it here they can probably do certain things. But who knows maybe there are tons of them not much more advanced than us but their planetary resources are greater, maybe their proximity to other useful bodies in space is better. It could be that we're unlucky but even if we're in the space-sticks our visitors would probably have the means to get back to more dense parts of the galaxy.
I feel the same way and I'm not sure what he should be jealous of? I doubt most paid youtubers make more than your average slashdrone, I don't like pictures of my face online because I'm paranoid. I do get jealous of people with easy gigs that pay well but from the sounds of it being a pro youtuber isn't as easy as it seems.
I don't like most youtube content that you can tell was made in pursuit of money either, with bumpers and graphics and shit. Not that I mind the production quality but it's usually a hint that the rest of the video is going to be ingenuine, it's going to be the best idea that some guy could come up with that week, vs something that someone uploaded because something about the content in the video compelled them to show other people.
Sure it doesn't have a public domain rap music intro, graphics, or any sort of script but it's the kind of stuff you won't see on regular tv.
I have to admit I'm a fan of angry video game nerd and hak5 but now that I think of it I found those through XBMC and not youtube.
Professional youtubers all produce shit content for people who lack buying power anyhow. If they're tired of it they should quit. I think it would be great if they stopped paying people to produce content.
I think you're kidding yourself. Unless you've had a series of antisocial mishaps by this point in your life, fights, expulsions, jail... you don't have the personality to stir shit when things get bad. Things will get worse and worse and you'll look at your gun and remind yourself it's still ok. But the reality is there are plenty of oppressive places with armed citizens. I've read of oppressive governments taking away people's guns but I've never seen any evidence that the presence of them keeps anyone honest anywhere even remotely stable. For our guns to keep the government honest our country would have to deteriorate into little fiefdoms ruled by warlords. Go ahead and give me your quote about watering liberty trees with the blood of patriots. But sit down and think that blood isn't your blood. It's kids growing up in a warzone, it's about never hearing from friends and family again, wondering if they're hiding out or buried somewhere with a bunch of other people. Imagine that we do somehow successfully check the government and we're fortunate enough to seat a stable and uncorrupt government post-revolution, which isn't what usually happens; But when you look around your new restored America you never see anyone, man or woman, between the ages of 15 and 30 because every single one of them has been killed or fled the country. That's what countries look like after war.
I didn't read that far up the thread I guess you're referring to his urging that Americans become uninformed activists? Americans have done a great job being uninformed activists but I don't think more media consumption will help them. They'll continue consuming whatever they like watching. Nobody is going to bother with boring old news that takes itself seriously when there is so much clickbait on facebook and a steady stream of upskirts on fox news.
Even if they watched real news I think maybe our world has gotten too complicated for most people to understand. At least if they're volunteering at the ACLU they have a high likelihood of being directed to act in their own self interests.
I assumed that most people would already have some idea what I was talking about. The point is that in the 200 some years since the constitution was written, monied interests have used their superior access to the legal system to win over and over. The result is that 200 years of case law has mutated the constitution so that it favors the interests of the rich. Also as a result the legal resources to successfully invoke the constitution are beyond the reach of most people in the country.
Accept that the constitution is worthless to you before you really fuck up and deny some corporation it's god given rights as an American citizen.
You have to be highly selective with your news sources. Any time you see a news site publish a headline that asks a question or doesn't provide synopsis of the article's contents. Then ban that source from your news feed. Any mention of celebrity bullshit should be an instant ban too. I have to admit I enjoy celeb gawking but it's easy enough to get without having to sift if from your news.
Once you've done this you'll find that the message you get from the news becomes more and more congruent.
Oh see my friend, they've already gutted all of them and in fact turned them into hostile zombies they can sic on the unimportant people. Accept they've been ripped apart and the constitution is not the bible. It's not holy, or infallible. It had a good run but the constitution simply serves as a set of goalposts for high priced corporate lawyers aim to when attaining legal supremacy for their clients.
Well considering that random forest wasn't even invented until 1995. You're wrong. That aside deep neural networks have moved from academia and into commercial production use where they're discovering new applications all the time and they're not even distantly related to game-trees.
I may have misunderstood the conversation but great follow up. I have to agree that I dont see the Japanese having a super close relationship with the saudis.
I know this is an old story but are we really going to replace her with a better editor? Remember timothy? Maybe we should recruit someone from buzzfeed?
Is this going to ruin your day? Is it hard to ignore a submission you don't like? Really dude we can live with imperfection in the face of the alternatives.
