    You must be in a real conundrum here. Seeing how Al Gore's primary lawyer in the Florida recount case was David Boise. Since the same David Boise is now representing SCO.

    Well then should the other 4 justices have not recused themselves as well? Clearly, voting the way they did shows a blatent bias.

    Furthermore, they did not vote against state rights. They reaffirmed the Florida Legislature's right and mandate to make the law. The same law the Governor of Florida is sworn to uphold. The Florida Supreme Court ruled such that it went above and beyond the court's mandate as enumerated in the state constitution.

    What if they're your kids? Your argument, to me, is the same as saying, "well what if a peeping tom was voyeuring your wife instead of out raping some jogger?" I don't want the either of the two evils. I agree the vast majority of people would become desensitized after the first day (of course I still wouldn't want to walk through on someone's first day). But this will surely attract the pedophiles and perverts, not the vast majority.

    the tobacco lawsuit...it was for the children but the money just went into states' general funds to pay for pork...

    if cigarettes pose such a danger to society, why are they legal? politicans would rather siphon more and more taxes from them rather than banning them...which would do more to achieve what they say their goal is, to improve health

    However, if the alleged infringement occurs early enough in the patent term, it could be argued that the invention was probably obvious to anybody skilled in the art.
