I had two eBay auctions cancelled late last year because I was selling the recovery disks that came with two IBM Thinkpad laptops I didn't even own anymore. That's an outstanding idea, one which I believe would benefit the entire nation. It adopted on a nationwide basis, it would also seem to eliminate most of the inconsistencies associated with the electoral college, such as 100% of the electors going to a candidate that won 50.1 percent of the vote (what happens to the wishes of the other 49.9%?). I wish some organization would make this their sole activist platform.

I've been playing on PartyPoker and UltimateBet for about a year, coming from no background whatsoever in poker, and I can consistently win. When I sit in for a long haul (2-5 hours), my winnings will generally match my day's pay at work ($150 or more), so it is very definitely worth playing.

Amazingly, they CALLED BACK the next day to check the status of their order...our boss convinced them we'd fired the salesperson they were talking to because he was screwing barnyard animals in the warehouse, and he said we could provide the customer a copy of a video if he wanted to purchase it...:-).

Anyway, I found out you can specifically block internet-relay calls without impeding the ability for people to use standard TTY relay services to contact you. Go Here and check it out. You just call a 1-800 number and tell AT&T you want to filter internet-relay calls specifically.

Amen to that. I once was quoted as saying Robert Jordan was the best modern fantasy writer in my humble opinion, but I have to say that the last installment of the Wheel of Time series was the first 500+ page book I'd read in which absolutely nothing happened. After I got done with it, I had to acknowledge that there was no plot continuance in the entire book. Everyone stayed where they were doing what they'd been doing in the previous book, and Rand himself showed up for about 20 pages. I am certain that when the next book comes out, one would be able to skip the most recent installment completely and carry on just fine.

Just look at a bell curve that plots intelligence...there are a huge number of people at or around average, which ain't all that grand, and there are fewer and fewer as the curve progresses to the higher intelligence levels. There are only a few staggering geniuses out there at any given time, and the terrible shame to the human race is that we likely don't know about most of them.
