Yep, I read that beforehand, but this article is just speculative ("might") on the implication of trusted computing...
In its current version, NAC does NOT require trusted computers. The so called "trusted" functionnalities are implemented by software only and things such as libraries wrapping. It is not 100% safe, altough the marketing docs pretends it. Indeed, you can go back to old security advisories to find problems. If you want, you can look at competing products like McAfee Entercept.
At then end, this whole issues boils down to the way people configure it, not the technology itself (cf guns don't kill ppl).
Your asking to "prove" there's not trusted computing in NAC is just like asking microsoft to prove they've never used GPL code or Saddam that he doesn't have any WMD.
"They're not defensive weapons unless they can be delivered against their adversary's homeland. You don't nuke your own country as a defensive measure against invading forces. Well you can, but that's like chopping off your leg."
The same North Korea that let hundred of thousands if not millions die in starvation ?...
I vote for "they don't give a sh*t" (oh, and btw, look at the distance between Seoul and NK).
So that's 95W max TDP for the fastest AMD against 130W 'typical' TDP for intel's. That's abour 50%-100% more depending on the exact configuration & performances.
This reminds me of an old Newsweek (europe) cover a few years ago, this was about Netherlands and sayed something like "Gay marriage, drugs, euthanasia : are the Netherlands showing the future of europe ?"
So, you can add those 3 things to your agenda, and also - International Court of Justice - landmine ban treaty - America's cup 2007
missing link : Cisco Clean Access
Hum, it seems they are already publishing info ...
For example, this Cisco Clean Access is the re-badged and cisco-integrated Perfigo CleanMachines.

Yeah, sure, please back me up with a serious link documenting that Cisco is pushing Trusted computing as part of NAC.
-1; Paranoid
Well, not if that family member is a close family memeber.
Here's the official answer from the local ASCAP. It's the same in most countries, maybe not the USA (DMCA?).
Well, that's symptomatic of the current status of Switzerland and various european organisations.
;)))
As they are member of the EPO and not of the EU, they will have to implement whatever is decided, without the possibility of being heard.
But they decided that democratically
Just remember one thing : just because the majority decides something, doesn't mean that's an intelligent choice nor the best one.
...
;)
For the record, this "far more evolved" system denied women's right to vote until the 70's.
Neither system is perfect
And yep, I'm not Swiss either, just living here as well
If you are interested, ok, they don't have a translator (yet?), but they sponsored an impressive dictionnary (see here).

Well, I type this on an old XP desktop processor which is running fine at 1.3V. Some newest Athlon64 (desktop) runs at 1.1V (22W)
Intel is even making a couple of 'ULV' (ultra low voltage) pentium-M down to 0.84V (4W).
I don't think any of these have this extra silly logic.
Let's google it : 'amd dual-core TDP
So that's 95W max TDP for the fastest AMD against 130W 'typical' TDP for intel's. That's abour 50%-100% more depending on the exact configuration & performances.
Also note that Intel's thermal design power correspond to "typical usage" (whatever that means) and thet AMD's TDP is absolute max (see this)
I guess that the OECD stats should be pretty good as well.
For taxes + social security, they put both Canada at 25% and USA at 24%. Not a huge difference.
Same goes for the gross wage, canada is at 32926 US$ and USA at 33456 US$, when balanced with purchasing power & exchange rates.
Er... it is. It's an ID-card with a chip on it, so you'll have to put it into some reader ...
Well, I guess that if they kick out of MSN all users which don't have a belgian ID card, that will piss off 99% of their customers ;)
Even if you enlarge to all e-ID owner, that's still limited (Finland, Estonia, Sweden aren't quite large either).
... also if you were sentenced to death for a crime you didn't commit ?
... just grab some code from Intergraph and install Debian/NT on you Sun SPARC ...
No, they're saying that
... cable operator are not the only competitors to incumbents.
- xDSL will win over cable
- Incumbents marketshare will decrease
That's not contradictory
Well, first, Windows XP is 5.1.2160 (for SP2) ...
from the BBC article : "Like Concorde and the Channel Tunnel, the bridge is Franco-British." ;)

Agreed on that. My parent forbid me to watch TV week days until I grew up ... and they were damn right.
...
Give them books and make them play outside or sports. Computers/TV/Videogames will come soon enough in massive dose.
Ok, I know I got no children (yet) but still
Yeah, that's cool, what's the problem ?
free-education : no, for example, tons of africans students are coming to french and belgium universities.
...
Now, for immigration and staying there after, that's another problem
