DirectX is only good for Microsoft platforms. How is that a good thing. I see that it is OpenGL 3.2 compliant, now that is something to be proud of (an actual multi-platform API).
I agree. Cloud computing is well defined. Yes, remote processing has been around for a long time, but now there is an interoperable standard that everyone can use (hint: not COM or CORBA), SOAP.
You people have to realize that having a server run forever without a hickup is the key to Stable...Not the latest and greatest. If you want the latest releases, use the Testing or Unstable versions. How many updates does it take Redhat;Suse;Slackware;etc. to be entirely stable?
Try running Windows on the XBox and then run the PC version of Halo...Then we can see that there is no comparison. How can you trust a company that can make a game run better on their hardware platform with a slower processor and graphics processor than an off the shelf PC...? Sounds a bit like Microsoft is suckering you in? Doesn't it? SUCKERS!
If you ask me, Doom3 and Halflife2 are a more technically superior game. And with Doom3 having Linux support, why would you want to waste your money? Especially when Halo2 is on the Microshaft XBox...
They should think about partnering up with the developers of Google Chrome OS. This seems like a match made in heaven.
This is why OSS is better. Everyone owns the code. This whole ownership of something intangible is absolute stupidity.
That's what happens when you don't know what is going on under the hood.
GO FOSS!!!
Ignorance is Bliss.

Stupid web developers don't even know how to use their tools and so they blame everyone else. This is why CSS was created. END OF STORY.
Russell?
Hmm... Not surprised.
Love it.
My Jeep only gets about 200 miles to a tank...what's the big deal?

When you have the money, just pay the judge off. It's the american way.

Hell, Tribes has better multiplayer than Halo ever had.

It's amazing: 2 lines of javascript and you have a proceedure for a patent. Let's really get stupid and get it down to 1.
