But there are so many fools out there who would exclude such a sequence from that set. Which would then make that resulting set of random numbers biased.
Yes, but they're only playing the lottery, so what harm does that do?
Not at all - I actually actively enjoy showing people like you up, sanctimonious half-wits that they are. Of course, you've now robbed me of that pleasure with your latest post, having removed all doubt, so I'll leave it to the moderators to decide who "wins."
Probably. But most of them don't act like douches and post comments on stories they could easily just avoid by looking at the title, instead of deliberately opening it up just to dump on something other people harmlessly enjoy.
that's exactly what the person would think getting stuck between two of these cars.
What are you waiting for? Get on the phone and call the scientists and engineers who obviously lack the insight to foresee this problem during the months and years they've spent developing this technology!
What's new is that the driver doesn't need to be in the car with his foot on the accelerator. I always assumed the only reason this hadn't been done already was that legally a human has to be in control of the vehicle, but perhaps with the looming prospect of fully autonomous vehicles some regulations have been relaxed.
That was posted on Astronomy Picture of the Day long ago.
You mean this completely different video of the same event?
Well aren't you just the smartest?

You are stupid. Meteorites are no immediate threat until you get hit by one, but do you wear a hard hat every time you go outside?
How many jobs have they each applied for?
the global price of oil jumped more than $1, from $110.40 to $111.50 as trading volumes soared
I'm pretty ignorant about the global oil market. Does 1% really qualify as a jump?

They got any female astronauts up there right now?
Two girls, one cupola...
Probably. But most of them don't act like douches and post comments on stories they could easily just avoid by looking at the title, instead of deliberately opening it up just to dump on something other people harmlessly enjoy.
It's "Doctor Who".
nick nick you've got there.
You need to lay off the marriage-uana, young man.
"Astronaut" implies American.
No, it implies (and probably not exclusively) that they come from an English-speaking nation. There are Canadian astronauts and British astronauts.
In the future I will try to post something that is more controversial, I promise.
I have a phobia of using the internets, you insensitive clod!
YOU have the ability to guarantee it is free of NSA tracking by reading ... source code for this device.
Oh that's good, I'm sure that won't take very- heywaitaminuuuute...

They have a video camera that takes frames faster than light can travel
That's like trying to compare the speed of a car in miles per hour with the speed of a computer in GHz. In other words, meaningless.
(it's from Airplane!)
"fly at the runway, once you're over it cut the engine and try not to land".
Iiiii don't want you talking me down.
The bit from Die Hard 2 is "Any landing you walk away from is a good landing".
FTFY.
Humans tend to have a non-zero risk of sudden death
100%, really. You're alive, you're alive, you're alive, you're dead.
What's new is that the driver doesn't need to be in the car with his foot on the accelerator. I always assumed the only reason this hadn't been done already was that legally a human has to be in control of the vehicle, but perhaps with the looming prospect of fully autonomous vehicles some regulations have been relaxed.
if you can drive 1000miles why cant you park in small tight spaces
If you can get a computer to do it more safely and more efficiently, why wouldn't you? And I'm talking about parking and driving.
But what do the actual scores mean? How do they translate into practical skills?
Maybe you should ask a Japanese guy. He probably knows.
No, but http://looka.gumbopages.com/images/push-button-receive-bacon.png
There's plenty of stuff that's rare that nobody wants.
