    STOP BUYING COPY PROTECTED CD'S, or cd's for that manner.

    listen to radio, XM, Sirius, make your own, etc.

    maybe someday music industry will see that people aren't buying their copy protected cd's, pull their heads out of their asses, and realize that they (as a company) are susposed to be providing a service to people, and not just padding their bank accounts.

    they upgraded some equipment, and later the new upgrades took a dump. when they fix one, another breaks.

    support costs will kill them.

    right now they only support their hardware(and some addons), but with x86 there are soo many combos of hardware, it'll be VERY hard to support it all.
    now, if they say they are supporting this and that, but not the other, why would windows users(or linux ones for that matter) switch?

    oh well only time well tell what they are going to do.

    worldcom isn't going to turn off the lights... if/when they file for chapter 11 bankrupsy protection, it reduces their debt, and they will probably do another layoff, or sell chunks of the company. chances are worldcom will survive, abit their reputation will be extreemly tainted.

    the internet is NOT going to be turned off...

    they didn't compare it to open bsd because this was a comparison of "secure" linux distros.

    yeah OBSD would have taken it ;)

    there needs to be a group of people to do exactly what open bsd does... thorough code reviews, not just in the kernel, but glibc, etc..

    The Hewlett family(i do believe) was fighting against the merger. She is saying this to make the Hewlett family back down, and let the merger pass, or loose the PC market... it's her hail mary pass.

    2.4.13 has been stable for me, and i'm not going to upgrade from it unless there is a bug/security problem that affects me.(or untill i start testing the 2.5.x series)

    I don't know about all of you, but when my wife and I go to that movie, and usually leave entertained... now isn't that the point of going to a movie? To relax, and watch something that is far fetched, geeky, romantic, stupid, etc? Why do we have critics anymore? I look at a preview, if it looks good, I go, if not, I don't. it's that simple.
