    These are folks who don't include every driver and feature available. They probably won't be running preempt, which has been at times problematic. You can get a very stable 2.5 series kernel by being prudent.

    All in all, my experience at running 2.5 has been positive, and my only problems have really been with features not likely to be used by folks running special purpose servers.

    I hardly think it's the "same thing" beyond the fact that good people are dieing.

    In one case, thousands of people die due to intentional murder, and in the other case, Iraq caused its own people to die by placing them figuratively in front of their strategic military equipment, using them as shields.

    ...has shown 3G to be pretty ok for some things, but crappy for others. ssh is just impossible over 3G.

    I'd rather run X over dialup than try running ssh over 3G. I never really figured out why, but I was more interested in that it didn't work than why.

    Anyway, just adding my thoughts.

    Even as a supporter of the war, I do not hope the US uses "any weaponry they can" against Iraq. I hope things go as painless as possible.

    I also hope Iraq can be a unified country which does not:
    1. torture and kill its own olympic athletes
    2. torture and kill political oponents
    3. pay the families of suicide bombers for bombing innocent people

    I wonder if you really believe what you do. If you do, you really need to see a psychologist.

    Oh, and 45 countries support the war. I think that makes a coalition.
