Only interesting thing in the smartphone market right now, excellent OS and framework developed by giants, now adopted by a small and enthusiastic company with a lot of knowledge straight from the top. This could really be the beginning of something big.

    Jolla is using it and co-operating with the people at QT Project, you should also remember QT is widely used commercially, its not just end-user products such as PC and mobile devices. Support for Android, iOS, Jolla OS/Mer/MeeGo/RIM etc and Symbian, this could be the way to make multi-platform apps for mobile devices.

    Their priorities are straight, Google is a privately owned company in another country. Those cams are in the UK, Google isnt. Data is in the UK, data isnt in the UK, but instead in another country. Not that hard to figure out, eh?

    Firefox RAM usage is a lot lower than Chromes actually, theyve done a good job making the browser more efficient. Firefox is faster as well, except for some hiccups here and there. Soon they will go ahead of Chrome, I dont know what changed, maybe its the new release cycle everyone is whining about on this page, but theyve done a good job with it.
