Considering how kids who are HOME SCHOOLED consistently rack up higher scores on standardized tests and university entrance exams I really don't think the teaching profession is worth much of a damn.

Maybe the US just isn't the country for you. Perhaps you should move to a country where the government to disasterous effect controls the wages of all professionals and makes sure teachers are paid more than atheletes.

His silence on this matter is disturbing. The free software community could use RMS's moral support right about now and it is not getting it.

Whether you wish to concede it or not the GPL was rammed down your throat if you use GPL software. Were it not for RMS's inhuman persistence in defending his license and the software that covers it the software you use would be issued under another license. Furthermore we would all have been spared such rambling literature such as "The Cathedral and The Bazaar".

Basically what I am saying is that folks like Eben Moglen represent the cold analytical side of Free Software while RMS represents the Lion Heart. This battle so far has no heart. Not a good thing in my personal opinion.

I keep my AOL account because of the easy casual sex hookups it provides but one thing I have noticed when looking thru member profiles is how many people both men and women are using the internet to find extra-marital lovers. And the spouses are usually oblivious.

That being said adultery isn't the biggest cause of divorce. Money problems are. One spouse spends too much, doesn't understand how money works....etc. Its insidious and horrible but it happens. This is why there's usually a power imbalance in most relationships. One partner usually has more common sense then the other. Its hard to put up with that kind of a lopsided relationship forever though and thats why we have such a high rate of divorce.

You got lucky, most people don't find someone who is a non-moron.
