    i would think that there are entire BOOKS of codewords and such for stuff that "should not happen" just so you don't have to say "%unthinkable% has happened" in front of civilians. besides with stuff classifed and Protocol and Procedure defined you tend to panic later and act now.

    Sorry i did get a bit mixed up the "red bull" trick is more for ADD but the point still holds i would bet that "non medical" methods can also work. In the case of autism it helps if you provide a stable environment with a defined order (hint i have a brother that is an autisic savant).

    Would have to be since Hogs (aka the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II) are know for many things and Subtle IS NOT ONE OF THEM. For a Hog subtle is not using DPU rounds in its Gatlin Gun.

    as soon as you have an accountant and a lawyer on a semi regular basis you should have a Company (in fact both of them will suggest same).

    Having a company of some sorts also makes it easier to get PAID even if your Cat is the Marketing Director and Your Dog is your Security Director.

    i think asking the question is most likely properly answered with "Three days ago would have been smart"

    whatever you do however you do it make sure that you have an IMAGE backup of the computer (and keep it updated)

    you can even make this edutainment by using a Red Blue Yellow and Green set of backup drives.

    Also whatever browser you use INSTALL AD-BLOCK (and think hard about parental control software).

    The big problem is that "Child Porn" is currently defined so widely that a "baby book" could be considered CP if you had the right judge EVEN IF THE BOOK IS OWNED BY THE PARENTS.
    so i would suggest that CP be redefined as Audible or Visual media that

    A depicts an minor participating in a sex act (or being abused)
    OR is
    B Nude or effectively nude AND there is no legitimate Artistic Diagnostic or Historical reason for the media (please note BOTH must be true or this fails)

    and i would also add a cutout for a "Witness to a Crime that in good faith surrenders the media for a cost no more than required"
    So if somebody wearing GGlasses does see a crime and then sends the feed to the local LEOs he can get paid back for whatever is cost him or if somebody has to give the LEOs a flashcard (since the card is now EVIDENCE) he gets paid for the card.
    In any case uploads of the clip to YouTube Premium (or any PPV service) are RIGHT OUT.

    1 every X releases have some sort of LTS release and then fix everything DON'T EXPERIMENT WITH NEW BETA STUFF
    and have it work as much as possible (so no switching to some new version unless EVERYTHING is working in that version)

    then use the run up to the next LTS to get everything ready

    2 if you are in the Thou Shalt Not Use the Root Login EVER camp then eliminate every time something needs ROOT you can
    (set automount to mount portable drives READ WRITE WORLD not Read Only Root Owned (unless that is set in the drives meta data))

    3 even if its a Python clicky shell eliminate the need to go to the Command Line Shell as much as possible

    4 have the desktop "control panel" slurp any generic control panels it can

    5 God help me for this one: Have in the Help system some sort of Clippy type Agent that you can use to invoke "wizard" type things for the times you have to do stuff across multiple control panel items

    6 any person that uses JFGI in your distro forum WITHOUT GIVING A CORRECT SEARCH PHRASE should be banned and if an employee does so that person should be fired.

    7 and finally INSTALL A LOCAL COPY OF THE HELP FILE WITH ALL APPLICATIONS never assume that your user currently has a network connection
