Its a very easy NO! Production is production. It can not go down! All software installed there needs to only be installed by the people that get the calls at 0300.
This is the best advice I think anyone can give on this.... Your IT department should have no issues with nuking it and putting a fresh image on it for you...

For the record I think this is pretty cool and hope when I did they make me into a drone and fly me over all of my ex's houses on a regular basis....
I would like to see the number of contributions from OpenBSD that are currently in other applications and/or other operating systems as compared to other *nix....
