Chile is a mostly Catholic country and that information is irrelevant anywhere. Chances are however that the computers installed in the data centre will be build by Buddhist people somewhere in Asia. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religions_by_country) shows that the percentage of Buddhist in Chile is 0.04%

You should be able to sue when products you have paid for are faulty. The previous comment states clearly "I use open souorce. It has a much smaller number of bugs", obviously there is no claim about absence of bugs there. Also, the value of a settlement should not be related to what you have paid for the product, but what damage was produced by the negligence of the organization that produced the product in question. Paying for goods or services implies a level of expectation that does not exist when you receive something for free.

I have been working in the IT industry for over twenty years and I have never actually used calculus nor anything closely related, however when you are studying mathematics, you are doing much more than that. Your brain is being trained to think in a specific way, you are becoming analytical and realize the relationships between abstract concepts. Such way of thinking cannot be achieved by accident, your brain needs to be trained and needs to exercise in that way if you want to become a creative person that will be able to handle the requirements of working in IT.

That is the kind of thinking that has been producing a schooling system of mediocre, self centered, ignorant and arrogant people that are under the impression they are superior to everyone else. People that imagine that it is OK to ge and take anything from another country by force (Mainly petrol these days) just because you have more and bigger guns. People of the US, you better be worried. Your economy is falling to pieces, the rest of the world looks at you with contempt and everyone is better educated and smarter than you are. Right now your space program is the laughin stock of mankind while the Chinese are getting out there doing things you can only dream about. If a US astronaut goes to space these days, it is in a Soyus capsule. Grow a brain, if you get something without making a serious effort, you won't keep it for long.

I can see that you miss the point. In the IT industry, you are EXPECTED to work unpaid overtime, you are EXPECTED to take work home and even though you may be legally allowed to take holidays, quite often the IT managers tell you that you can not take them when you wanted because there is not enough staff to cover the shifts (That means the manager wants to take holidays on the same period)
