    It's the best multiplayer FPS/RTS game I know. Infact it's the only game that combines the two. It's great!!

    Well I keep sending them my address and asking them to invoice me, but they don't return my calls. At this rate I'll never be able to sue them.

    I've given up on the UK OFT as they want to wait for the trial to finish, even though SCO said they would be selling licenses here from February. I despise them almost as much as SCO.

    Hate is a powerful emotion, I must thank SCO for introducing us. I'm grinding my teeth and refraining from writing obscenities right now. ARGGGHHHHH!

    We use MailScanner which can work with Sendmail or exim and it supports many different AV programs.
    It doesn't just do viruses though, it can run Spam checks (with or without the help of spamassassin), Filter out (and remove) dangerous HTML, filter/remove file attachments and has lots of other useful features.

    Definately worth checking out.

    It's spent the past month hunting down Spirit Rover and maintinaing radio silence.

    I would have waited to see what the Judge has to say tomorrow before responding.

    I so wish I could be there to hear them explain why they haven't complied with the order. With any luck what SCO did manage to coble together has already been refuted (WITH EVIDENCE!) and submitted to the court by IBM.

    Now that's over the MPAA should be pushing for Jon to be arrested on grounds of wasting police time and tax payers money.

    I'm sure the MPAA would be happy to testify against him. Lets see if we cant keep him on trial and out of crypto.

    Perhaps the RIAA would like to step in with a European copyright directive suit for his anti Apple itunes behaviour?

    The boy is a menace to society and the Amercians want their toys back. Someone put them back in the pram.

    I would say you have overlooked ARP.
    If it can't respond to ARP requests then it can be talked to.
    Not unless you were really *smart* and setup a static ARP for it, but that would probably get you a darwin award ;-)

    If it wasn't for Jon, I wouldn't have 60+ DVDs at home and the movie industry wouldn't have 900 of my hard earned cash.

    I don't have a DVD player, I dont run windows. If it wasn't for Jon and the fine guys at Ogle, Mplayer, Xine, etc I wouldn't buy DVDs.

    The movie industry needs locking up in a cell with a 7 foot guy called Buba wearing a dress. Pricks!

    It was not my intention to give offense or sound arrogant, but those three Debian servers were rooted from local exploits. It's not like Apache, Openssh, Wuftpd, etc have been clear of remote vulns for 400+ days.

    You may be safe at the moment, but should someone find a vulnerable service on your box then even if it doesn't give root the step up could be trivial.

    I'm not attempting to tell you how to admin your servers, or claiming to be a font of *any* knowlege, but common sense dictates you should do ALL that you can to keep your servers and data secure.

    Personally I use grsecurity on all of my servers and I dont have local untrusted users to worry about. However I will be upgrading to 2.4.23 as soon as I have finished testing a possible kernel-exec issue. It's about raising the bar. I sleep better knowing I have done all that I can.
