I'm sure that once people get the message that this is fucking STUPID (and people with a bit more integrity [if that ever happens]), these kinds of actions and these kinds of laws will be outlawed.

Then they get all pissy and sue someone. And of course, they lead out the propaganda "Don't Steal Books!" and we end up stealing more of them.

Anyways, yeah. Wasn't this ebook software the Skylarov made only able to be used on ebooks that one already owned to port it to a different format? (such as a palm ebook or others?) That's my understanding. And if it's true, what are the damages then?!?! That's fair use! WTF!

Okay. I'm preaching to the choir here. Nevermind.

Oh, and if Adobe sues over peanuts like ebooks, then they need to get to the people that pirate things like Photoshop and Illustrator and Pagemaker and Premiere (which are a helluvalot more likely to be pirated than stupid ebooks, c'mon!) :D

Oh, well. And, it works the same, and you can export and import MS Office documents into it very easily. So, what's the point of using anything other than it? Oh, well... (Yeah, I forgot that StarOffice isn't exactly open-source, as much so as others, but it's a good example of non-MS software.)

But hey, I like all of the games that come with Linux and the drivers better anyway. They're less buggy because people that have the smarts can actually f_ck with the code and get it working perfectly for their needs. Of course, Microsoft has to have hundreds of minions working on one problem... And they take so long to get everything fixed because of the fact that they don't have the ability to decode their own obfuscated pieces of crap.

Long live open-source. Down with MicroSoft's monopoly on everything. I, for one, am getting sick of them trying to take over every market. But hey, I don't like the idea of Intel's muscle-ing in on the high-bandwidth bandwagon, anyway. 12Mbps is good enough for a lot of things (Hey, I still have my Iomega Predator [which works on Linux] on USB...), and Firewire's just as fast, and has the ability to work with other devices without a central computer.
