There are some important IMO stores from the first two doctors that I think should be seen to get some backstory ideas.

The first story with the first doctor.

The first Dalek story (if not every one you can get your hands on).

The story with the Master that leads into the third Doctor.

    The Yeti Story.

The Cybermen stories (I like seeing how they evolved).

Bah. Find all you can by hook or by crook and watch them. Even the reconstructions where the video is lost or so bad they had to reduce it to stills with an audio track. Some really good stories (like the HUGE Dalek masterplan arc) were lost or completely lost except for a little footage and the audio tracks.

First of all, as any east coast American should know, you need malted vinegar for fries (regular will work, but malted is tastier) and some salt. Also you don't waste good vinegar on crappy fries like what comes from fast food joints. You need good well cooked hunks of potato, still slightly soft and capable of absorbing said liquid. Dont use too much, moderation is the key to good eats.

Best place IMO to get them is Ocean City boardwalk in Maryland.

Speaking on cooked potato products, I once was at a table next to some French tourists and they asked for mayonaise for their fries. I tried it and it was not bad (use spareingly).

I have never seen anyone laughing at people who try fries with vinegar. Maybe you need better friends.

It could be that the Daleks that were in the fissure that the cybermen came through were outside of space/time and therefore Rose had no knowldge of them when she was erasing the Supreme Dalek and his fleet. It would appear they were not in this dimension/space-time when she had the power of the heart.

We enjoyed Torchwood (my wife and I) but we have re-named it to Torturewood after the run of episodes around the "camping trip".

The show pretty much tuned into a round robin "make this character miserable and then kind of resolve it" of the cast.

I will watch more, but I will mercilessly make fun of some of the dumber things the writers think is "Awesome!" in the dialog/plot department.

Sounds like OCFS2 took a page from IBM's HACMP.

Machines that get their resorces taken are usually sent a "FOAD" signal from the living nodes so as to make sure there are not netork conflicts and the resorces are no longer in use when it takes over (I've dumbed the process down quite a bit since I dont feel like writing 15 pages on HACMP).

My wife, who has something going on with blood glucose (verified not type 1) cant drink aspartame because after a few days he blood glucose levels go crazy high and stay there. We tried standard type 2 stuff involving diet and foods (as well as common sense of paying attention to what we eat) and the only difference between her at normal levels for a healthy adult and the sky high plateau was a regular intake of 3 sodas a day or more containing aspartame. Aspartame also seems to affect her vision (makes it blurry) after a few days of regular intake. Sucralose does not produce the same result.

All the things I mention we observed before we started reading about people having headaches (something she does not experience) from diet soda. It was the only change to her diet and if she quit them after a few days he body would go back to normal.

Then again we discovered she must maintain a certain level of carbohydrate (preferable low glycemic index, but even high GI is ok) intake (at least 40G a day) or her blood glucose starts to weird out (stay high). If she eats at least that much a day it stays in normal ranges (for fasting and after meals). The doctors say she is just diabetic, but for some reason if she eats a "diabetic" diet it makes things worse rather then better.

Frankly she sees most benefit to healthy glucose levels from exercise on a regular basis as well as moderation in food and drink.

From what I remember of the first Dalek episodes of Dr. Who. The Thals were quite capable warriors, it is just that once the planet was wasted by the war and the Kaleds were hiding in underground bunkers busy turning into Daleks, the Thals were busy surviving in the open environment. Since they no longer had an enemy (that they were aware of) and just needed to look to survival they had time to do other things then be warriors. I also didn't get that they were hostile to modern science. They got nuked back into the stone age and had not progressed as far as they had been before the war.

    YMMV

The problem IMO is no one thinks about how to prepare it best so they make unappetizing muck with it.
For cooking it whole you need to press out the excess water and then marinate it.
It works well cut up and fried or stewed (again it will not add much flavor so you want a flavorful soup like hot and sour).
Get the soft style and fry it up like scrambled eggs with some seasonings.

I eat meat and I think tofu can be a great thing to include in meals. Just make it tasty.

Do you remember a transforming robot toy (was not transformer). I think it was from some anime that was never exported that had a car/pickup (cant recall) and a trailer. They both were the "parts" of the robot (trailer bit integrated into the car bits). I seem to remember white and blue being prominent colors.

I seem to remember bits of the untranslated anime being show at sci-fi conventions back in the late 70's early 80's. Something to do with a farm where the workers were using mecha as labor units and the car/trailer thingy was a well armed "enforcer" unit for dealing with any worker who got out of line. I also seem to remember the main house for the family could transform into a huge red robot but was broken and they were trying to fix it. There were competing farms as well as bandits.

I could also be mixing up several things.
