You dont get out much do you. It was a joke son. I was making teh funny!!1!
Some people believe that the ONLY TRUE Lexx was the short series of movies, and the SCI-FI version was an abomination. I was making light of that. See my further response about moon beems being reflected off the swamp gas on venus (an incorrect X-Files referance but someone got it).
I seem to remember a US Surgeon General saying it was healthy as well but then people got upset and demanded someone who would say cigarettes cause magic in your lungs that makes gold.
"The sequel series (Crusade) was horribly broken from day one as a result of a torrent of "notes" from TNT that destroyed any sense of what the original concept was."
I was under the impression they watched some re-runs of Star Blazers (Space Cruiser Yamato) before they came up with Crusade.
I agree, but going by ancidoltal (sic) evidence, many people buy somewhere around 2-5 PS2 units. So using numbers pulled from my ass, at worst SONY has only sold units to about 25M individuals or more realistically somewhere between 38M and 45M.
Any spelling mistakes are intentional in the post, and I have no grammar.
Considering 2 of my 3 PS2 units are no longer able to read DVD media (they can read CD) I say it's a good sign that SONY is producing shit hardware (I treated them well). Back in the 80's I had a walkman. Plastic, looked like crap and the front door broke off, but the radio and actual cassette player mechanism held up to several years of damp dishwasher work in a restaurant. I wish SONY and AIWA products were built as well now as the ones I dealt with 20 years ago.
While they didnt generally use a heatsink, you could burn yourself on them as well. Even though the PS fan may be intended to only cool the components in the PSU they still bothered to put air holes in the front and or sides of cases. As a side bonus, they got rid of some heat from other internal components.

All PS2 units have cheap ass shitty optical drives. I have 3 ranging from Version 2 to Version 9 (I think there are 12 versions, just like Cylons). and all of them have gone dead, but I managed to bring one back to life by re-calibrating the laster output with an o-scope.
"A 386 could be run in an enclosed space with no ventilation"
I disagree with you on this. Having run a fair number of machines from the 8088 up, all machines had a power supply fan that kept some air moving through the case. If you took a 386 DX 33 and stuck it in an airtight box (your enclosed space with no ventilation) it will run for a while but it will overheat and have issues eventually. Once the air in the box warms up to the point that it won't take heat from the heatsink then the heatsink becomes useless.

I repeat. There was no Lexx TV series!
What you think you saw was an illustion, or moon beams reflecting off the swamp gas of venus.
Forget movieguide.org, check out the hilarity of capalert.com, it has charts.

My problem with Reality is every time I try to use my Scanner Darkly on it I get Fantasy (or vice versa).
Have you tried Encounter, the new KOSH shell?
If I still had modpoints I would have moded it up. I enjoyed it.
Didnt Bush (or someone from the whitehouse) use that phrase in a speach once?

I'm always on the lookout for spare parts. If you would like to sell it, drop me a line.

But the Borg have repetitive dull tasks down to a science. Perfect for the traditional level grinding of an MMORPG.
Are you saying there is a zombie somewhere in the whitehouse?
I suggest you watch Forte Inc. closely. The splash screen graphics for Agent and Free Agent suggest she is up to no good.
I have none of those conditions and have been through 3 PS2 units. No matter how good you treat them, SONY crap ass manufacturing shows through.

Remember The Computer is your Friend.
Not all the latest games require a dual core 3 GHZ processor.
For instance The Movies (one of the latest games) claims all you need is a sub GHZ Pentium (800MHZ I think they say).
While thats a bit extreme, not everyone codes only to the latest bleeding edge hardware.
So where do things like Apache fit into the above?
I thought Number 6 was Number 1...
