Your rant kind of wanders all over the play without making any real straight foreward point. Can you maybe clear up exactly what you meant to say with this post?
Get a book of food counts and look up all the plant based foods. Most vegetables (plant based foods) have little to no carbs. Grain do have high carb loads, but if we humans didn't strip all the fiber and germ from the grains they would be complex carbs instead of the refined simple carbs. Complex carbs have a slower release cycle and provide a longer lower more steady energy then the dangerous spiking you get from simple carbs.
I am not saying not to eat meat. But advocating no plant based foods is stupid and really cuts down on variety/flavor. I doubt you or anyone could live on pure meat alone with no plat based anything, or be able to eat anywhere with that kind of dietary restriction. I say that not because I think you would die, just that it would gt awful boring and tasteless.
I bought and played both Simpsons games for the Gamecube before I bought any GTA games for the PS2. The simpsons game is great but not as expansive (in sidequests and things) as GTA:VC or SA. Mostly it just has collection sid goals. It's a good game just it does not have as much to do in it.
Rawhide: Dr. Banzai is using a laser to vaporize a pineal tumor without damaging the parthogenital plate. A subcutaneous microphone will allow the patient to transmit verbal instructions to his own brain. Observer: Like, "raise my left arm"? Rawhide: Or "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A." People are gonna come from all over. This boy's an Gamer.
I guess it's all about how you chose to play the game, and that gets to the point of TFA. I played Postal2 and tried to avoid killing unless it was absolutely necessary. I ran if I could but had no problem deciding to dispatch NPC who were actively hostile.
One thing it does do is show you what kind of person you are. If a game character is trying to kill me (many postal 2 NPC are hostile) I have no problems killing them first.
At the start when I was escaping out the back of Running With Scissors offices, someone shot at em but missed. The ensuing explosion (because of the gas lines) ignites a hapless wandering non hostile citizen. That was the most gruesome painful simulated death I ever saw. It was quite startling and made me feel bad even though it was not my fault. I could have saved the person in hindsight (I think) but I didn't figure out how to put out fires until the Library.
Robotech (what you bought from ADV) was made from 3 unrelated series the first being Macross (edited and storey changed). Of the 3 shows mangled to make Robotech Macross is the most intact. A few years ago a smaller anime company called Animeigo licensed MAcross did a restoration to the master elements and released a subtitled DVD set (there are a few translation issues), aparently Harmony Gold (they are evil like OCP) took the work of Animeigo and re-sold it to ADV to make a dub.
Because back in the 70's someone came up with a crazy invention called a VCR. Now here in "The Future" we also have DVR as a choice. So people who like cartoons can also go out and party without missing anything by using one of these technologies to "time shift" the viewing of said shows.
I've allready posted so I cant mod you down to the oblivion you deserve. This is not because I disagree with your post, but the lies it contains.
For starters Oh! My Goddess and Your Under Arrest are not porn, so the basis of the supposed facts in your statement is lies and therefore nothing else you say can have any truth to it.
As far as I can tell Costal Carolina has never dubbed adult anime.
Did you watch things that you actually stood a chance of liking? What I mean by that is if you like horror films, for instance, then maybe Anime like Mermaids Forest/Scar is more your thing then say "Lupin III" or "They were 11". I've seen a number of people end up seeing stuff they dont like because they just "watched anime" and didnt seek out the kind of anime that fits with what they like. It looks like you tried to watch "popular sci-fi" shows (most of what you list is overated IMO), maybe you need to check out some of the more obscure shows like the above mentioned They were 11, Roujin Z, or Memories (a set of 3 short films). I'd reccomend Wings of the Honneamise but it contains one scene that seems out of character for the main character. It's good if you can overlook that (if you watch it you will know what it is).
The Japanese TV broadcast of Cowboy Bebop also didn't air at least 2 episodes. I do not know if they had any cuts or edits done to the episodes they did show.
"Try composing or arranging music that way. It really doesn't work. You can't really take a large number of people and have each one write a little music; the result won't be a cohesive whole in the least."
I have seen it work with a group of people who had no contact besides e-mail and usenet.
If you or anyone is interested I can set up a torrent of the Kosmic Free Music Foundation (KFMF) archives. It is an 8 CD set, some audio format and others data.
I find that with overplayed artists, it's best not to drop them, but simply avoid the 1-2 overplayed songs (most often all the other work they do is forgotten) there is usually some good stuff outside of the "hits" that get overplayed.
One thing to do is find some music you like and go to a live performance of it. Being in a theater and having the orchestra there is a totally different experience.
I once was able to attend a performance of the 9th (Beethoven) and Carmina Burana (Carl Orff) performed by the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra (W.VA. USA.) and there is a quality to the live performance. A resonance that you can feel in the air that no CD or DVD-A has been able to reproduce. Words fail me to describe the feeling enough to do justice to the experience.
First you will need to develop (if you don thave them now) basic electronics skills and understanding.
Then go read all the pages and articles debunking audiophile BS.
Then go make your own improvments, like looking at your gear and seeing if the caps are cheap POS (a bigger problem in motherboards IMO) and should be replaced. Others comments about better interconnect tec are also worth looking into.
Sometimes you will be astonished to find things like cold solder joints in power supplies (I'm looking at you Sony PS2) and SMD components that pop off when lightly touched.
For dealing with standard components Radio Shack has most of the tools you need. Yes you can get better, but unless you are making $$ from your hobby or wealthy it's not worth the expense. If you start getting brave with the SMD stuff then you need to get a good soldering station.
The Panasonic FC series caps are good, but beetter is the FM line, much tighter in specs and handles much higher ripple current while producing less heat.
Almost all the same values are available in the FM line except for 2700uF and a couple others.
I use them to re-build motherboards that have blown caps due to using that bogus electrolyte formula from a while back.

Weird, last year I was able to return a motherboard to newegg.
If there was one thing Big Bird would end up pusing it's not Viagra, it's Enzyte.

New to America?
It's been out for YEARS in America.
It might be new to Adult Swim, but not America.

"I feel as if I've been somehow raped but in a good way."
I'm almost tempted to change my sig.
"There are tiny little stilts to hold your speaker cables up off the floor to prevent - uh, actually, I don't know what those are supposed to do."
Let you vacuum the floor?
Also stick with a good reliable parts supplier. I try to use places like digi-key when I can.

Are you telling me I got taken when I bough Monster (TM) Brand Wireless Ethernet Cables? ;-)
ARG! "but better" not "but beetter". So much for spell check.

I'd add Michael Swanwick to the list of current Science Fiction authors, but I am heavily biased.
