I researched for a provider on DSLreports and found the best rated one in my area they had a great price. I even called their tech support to see how long it would take in case I needed them they anwsered right away with a real person I was really happy So I ordered 2 installs one at my biz and one across town I payed for the setup total $700 back in september last week after I can't rember how many calls I still don't have service so much for DSL reports as far as I'm concerned getting DSL is pure luck
I the gateway country stores
I was always amazed by the sales people
in the small Biz department they would sell
some serious servers with NT for a small office
with maybe 4 workstations the bill was very expensive
Plus the people had know clue how to set up or maintain
these systems.
It was a very ugly situation.
The real problem though is that the sales people really didn't know
any better they just sold people what ever gateway offered
stop by a gateway counrty store yourself you'll see what I mean

I thought about that when I posted
I have no way to justify my actions
but I can think of no better way to spread the word
at least I am not trying to make money from my posts
Getting gang moded down was quite a shock
it knoked me down to zero karma
but hey It was for a good cause

but I have been on the net for along time
and spam has been a problem for much of that time
when I used to read the newsgroups alot spam was
a real pain in the ass
spam in e-mail is getting worse all the time
would you like it if your kids got spammed by porn sites?
Spam is more then an inconvience
It goes against everything the internet was originaly founded on

the original link identifies everyone that clicks it as the same person
therefore they don't get billed for the clicks

at the Javits center in NY is that every
booth has anewton hooked to a card reader
Until I went to Mac world there wasn't a Newton insite istead they had some big clunky things
and it accured to me that the Newton was John Sculy's baby
I guess everyone knows how Steve feels about him
I guess thats why they don't use them at Mac world

a lot of teachers they are just a clueless as anyone else
wich is why I'm getting out of retail not because biz is bad
just the opposite biz is booming but I am burned out listening
to the same stupid questions every day then people don't believe what

If the kids can't read and write
So it makes sence to me that Bush said nothing about
computers in his speach
But the truth of the matter is that the vast majority teachers
don't even know how to use computers.
Never mind use them efectivly in a clas room
I would much rather they spend thier time teaching kids the
basics.

meeting after the election they said the two really clicked Clinton comented
that you shouldn't underestimate Bush
I believe Bush uses peoples perception of him as not being bright
