    If nothing else, in this case, they should have received a special dispensation from the FDA.

    Similar incidents in areas with large game kills. Hunters cannot in some jurisdictions (Maryland) give the meat from population management hunts to food banks or the like without going through the entire inspection process, at their expense.

    They sadly haven't done any of the old DX stuff on Mac with WINE, so I wouldn't hold out hope that you will see Linux releases of that.

    You have ignored (at least) two important items. First, Betty paid taxes on the parties, toys, and trips. Second, at least at the federal level, the $200k should be well under the $5 million exemption to the estate tax.

    As for the kids, that is money that could have gone to give the kids a better childhood or pay for college. Instead, dad saved it for retirement. But he died before he could retire, so now the government gets it instead of him or the kids. It's sick.

    You realize that we're talking about a tax with a $5,000,000 exemption in the US, right? Poor Tiny Tim's college and Chrismas Goose money fall well underneath that cutoff.
