    $10,000 isn't close to enough to be saving for later life. You only (typically) get about 35 years of working life, and most of us will get around 30-35 years as a pensioner. That means that you're currently setting yourself up to be living on $10,000 a year (assuming investment keeps up with inflation).

    You must be European. Retirement age in the US ~67, no way 'most of us' are making it to late 90's.

    I once had a rental in Germany and accidentally hit a button. The car kept asking me a question in German and I had no clue what to say or do. Eventually, I hit the right button to stop the inquisition.

    I didn't expect this inquisition just from driving a car...

    People do go to jail for missing payments on child support. Even if they lost their job and cannot make said payments.

    Just to clarify, I was referring to alimony rather than child support.

    But yes, I've seen men carted off for jail when unemployment was at its peak a few years ago and they couldn't pay.

    Just another reminder to use strong passwords, password managers, and change them often. It's a pain, but it's the reality of the digital world.

    What good is a password manager when the answers to your security questions are public knowledge?

    Who says you need to tell the truth on those questions?

    Q: "What is your mother's maiden name?"
    A: "Purple monkey dishwasher."

    Damnit, time to change the security question on the password manager for my luggage.

    Umm driverless cars are definetly something that we should do. Humans frankly suck at driving and countless lives could be saved if human drivers were replaced with more reliable machines.
