I though I was reading slashdot and not a damn report or a book. I am a non-english speaker, and when writing in English I have to go over what I write between 5 and 10 times, because frankly my mother tongue often gets in the way of things, and it is very different. Doing that in Slashdot? Dream on.

Sadly, I have seen it happen too. I had to be flown over to a sister company in another country with the same ERP software of us, after a major snafu (newspapers and all) to automate some processes that were already automated in our side. The process was being done by 6 people by hand who had no whatsoever interests in that it worked well, because they were deceiving my counterpart, and running a business on the side. Never understood why the resident guy did not take my help , insisted in developing his software that never materialised, and never took my offer to us the software I developed. Needless to say, he was let go. To be fair with the guy, he just had another set of priorities, was more into politics and customers handling, and should not be working without another senior IT guy.

I am quite sure I have never associated ever my fathers and sis-in-laws accounts to a single CC card. They have been working for a couple of years without problems, and my sis-in-law has already used her account in an iphone, and ipod and a Macbook Pro. Originally one account was created in an iPod, and the other in an iPad.

Not really. My 6-year old does know how to read English and asks me why the locked portions of "free games" do not work. She has no idea they are paid.

Only idiots provide an uncapped CC card for the Apple store, and do not create free account for the childrens iPad. My child account is in my family group with no CC associated whatsoever, and my account is linked to a virtual CC card capped to 100 USD.

They do not have required a CC to install free apps for years. I have had free accounts, my sis-in-law and my father still have their free accounts that I helped her create with no CC whatsoever. In iOS it is quite easy to setup it as free, in OS/X it is also possible, however it not so apparently straightforward.
