    OMG, IKEA uses RH enterprise support for managing their servers... Slash *used* to be news for nerds. I have used scripts, after that RunDeck and now Ansible + Debian. And they do not need a subscription and better yet, are *distribution agnostic*.

    If you say so. Living in a European capital with stellar food choices, excellent seafood, very high quality cheap wines, and comparatively much lower prices, and to top if off where people actually know what is good food, I beg to disagree.

    You can always get a flight to London in a weekend in any city in europe, see a word class theather, meet new people and not live in a very crowded and expensive city. About the eating, I can't even figure out why I would go to England to eat.

    I studied in Bristol. The kind of industry is not exactly what IT people want. Low skilled labor, small town syndrome. Apart from some hubs designated to attract students, it is a town with the syndrome of a village. Would not enjoy living there, enjoyed it when younger tough.

    I also in the past interview indians that listed quite a few know certifications in the CV and their knowledge did not match at all what was in the paper. They can list as much as they want, and pass through HR, however if you are doing it right a 15-20 technical interview is more than enough to unmask most of them.

    What would you really expect? As a side joke I once had a female friend who told me her "papa" find her a cushion HR job when she was in her 20s, and she told me they were hearing radio all day and calling back in contests collectively to kill time.
