All my grandparents on my father side, and his sister too, all of them gorged themselves to dead with local and prepared food. Loads of meat, wine and loads of heavy food. They were also very lazy, did not clean properly their house of even ironing their clothes. Now my grandmother on my mother side, she was in her late 60s and looked like she was 40. She died when she was hit by a car. I think the more happy generation and more resources will be my parents actually. Social structures are rapidly collapsing and the salaries haven't changed much in the last 2 or 3 decades. They are also used to eat far more better than the generations after them. So statistics aside, there are a lot of variables to take into account.

Who says all of this is not fabricated, and a get-rich scheme in a bollywood-style grotesc movie just to game the american system, which is known to give huge sums? That is coming from a country where hundreds of women are raped every day, seems to be hardly Ubers fault. If I were Uber, I would not give a compensation and would go all the way to the court. And at the end of the day, any amount unduly gained by that individual is getting out of Ubers customers pockets. Corporations are not magical places where the money comes from pots at the end of the rainbow.

What I have been saying all along is that I work in a Uni, and I have students (not-IT students) and teachers binging their home grade wifi routers and cloning the MAC of their equipment with a functionality of the said web interface of the equipment. This is the last time I say it. It is not quite effective, MAC-based security has not worked very well since 1995, and nowadays even consumer grade equipment has functionality built-in to circumvent it.

As I said, very easy to circumvent. Just cloning the MAC in commercial appliances or in your netbook is TRIVIAL. I worked as a consultant in a major ISP many moons ago, and to backup my work to take to our HQ, back when external hard drives were not that common and were BIG, and I was younger and foolish, I just booted up the PC next to mine, annotated the MAC, changed the MAC with a simple ifconfig command, changed the cable to my netbook issued by my consulting company and presto. Let me reiterate, MAC security is a FALSE sense of security. Most of our corporate users who are not that computer literate to sysadmin level know how to evade MAC security too from what we have found until know.
