I got the not-recommended experience of cutting donuts in the sky in a military (i.e., no windows to even sight-see out of) plane for 8+ hours getting down to a weight we could land at. Oh, and the problem also affected the brakes. Thankfully we had a very, very long runway to land on. Landing was uneventful thankfully. That was almost as bad as getting stuck in a middle seat in the middle section on a packed flight from Chicago to Hawaii. Nah, not even close.
You kind of missed the whole point. If The Gov can tell you that you *MUST* take Vaccine X, then the same reasoning says you *MUST NOT* have an abortion. That's what the case was about. Disclaimer: I've had more vaccinations than I can count, and my children are also vaccinated.
You realize that there are also athiests, agnostics, buddhists, muslims, insert-religion-of-your-choice who do the same thing, for the same or different reasons? Claiming that all Christians do this, or that even a significant number, is just trolling.
The difference: The GOP didn't try (multiple times) to slander that guy. He still has his reputation, even if he didn't make to the supreme court. This was just politics--and if the dems and GOP had switched places, I'll give you any odd you want that the dems would have done exactly the same thing....I take that back--based on what they've done to Kavanaugh, they would have crucified his reputation and then used that as a reason to not vote on the guy.
The parents are paying the taxes that run things. So, in your opinion, they should "Just give us your money and shut up. We know what's best. We don't need your input.".
Because the goal posts keep moving. Look at the chain of words considered polite to use for someone who has trouble walking for an example. The words used for someone who has more melanin in their skin than other folks for another. Why not put the onus on the LISTENER instead of the SPEAKER for a change? Just because a snowflake gets offended doesn't mean the person speaking intended to be offensive.

I have rather strong glasses. No need for a diffraction grating, just look at the bulb off-center. Especially with LED bulbs (which I otherwise like). Headlights are especially bad, the blue refracts outside the headlight outline, so I'm always seeing "unmarked car Cop Lights" coming at me from behind--at least they're not flashing!). I've got some of those multicolored smart bulbs I play with. I can tell how much R/G/B is showing (the refract on different sides of the bulb) for whatever color they're set at.
I agree with your sentiment (especially as one who has in the past used "incandescence heating" during the winter (I still hated the color, & CFLs where just coming out, even more unreliable than present, and expensive). But for a true comparison, you would need to figure in the efficiency of basically resistance heating vs whatever else you used for heating. In my case it was glowing red coils in the heater or glowing yellow coils in the light bulb:-). And I was keeping the thermostat in the 50s.
The problem with dimmable LEDs and dimmer switches is (at least at the price point I'm at) they really don't dim the LEDs as low as I'd like at times. The lowest setting before "completely dark" is still too bright. Incandescent bulbs you could dim to a very low glow if you wanted. Having said that, I hate incandescent bulbs. Not for the eco-warrior reasons, I just hate the color of the light and the heat they give off (you can hate inefficiency without going full eco-warrior). And just about every light bulb I have is LED.
