By delaying orders on all exchanges by 500ms, the benefit of early-access to incoming orders on any particular exchange is eliminated because all the exchanges will have 500ms of order price discovery incorporated into their SIP, the consolidated price representing the aggregate of the best prices for all the exchanges.

For my own experience the quantity and length of ads on Youtube has reached the tipping point where I start dreading even going to Youtube anymore. That totaled one minute of ads for what turned out to be zero seconds of entertainment.
The exact opposite is true. Walmart doesn't have loss leaders outside of maybe Christmas season (like all other retailers). And unlike other realtors Walmart doesn't play games with variable pricing and "sales" - nearly everything at Walmart is cheaper than their competitors.
Companies collude illegally to limit wage competition and when that was discovered they started to pay lobbyists to work on H-1B reforms instead. If they want to lower their wage costs let them burn more billions into overseas outsourcing.
