If that's the case maybe they should have flown a little east of the coast then. That way we'd be reading a declassified report that read 'USAF almost detonated an A-bomb somewhere over the Atlantic'.
First, Blackberry waited far too long in their downward spiral before giving serious consideration to selling the company. Second, by announcing to the world that they're for sale they instantly froze the decision process of every corporation that was considering an upgrade to BB10. Why would any customer consider committing themselves to Blackberry for the next 2-5 years when they're not even sure Blackberry would last in (its current form at least) till the end of the year? It's clear Blackberry publicly announced their intentions to sell in order to stem the mass exodus out of the stock. It will go down as the last of many horrible decisions made by the company's management.
"The accident happened when a B-52 bomber got into trouble, having embarked from Seymour Johnson Air Force base in Goldsboro for a routine flight along the East Coast."
If carrying A-Bombs across the eastern coast is a routine flight I would love to know what the USAF considers an exceptional flight.

I predict humans will observe the earth warming, then cooling, then warming, etc.. in a cycle that repeats itself over and over again with varying frequencies and amplitudes until such time humans become extinct and are replaced by a more evolved species that lacks the pretense of understanding a system as complex as the earth's macro climate.
When we first met she was charging $300/night. But after her taint got corked a few hundred times it didn't seem quite as appealing anymore so she was forced to reduce her rate down to $75/night. I'll forward her a link to this article so she'll know the experience wasn't unique to her. I never got involved with her romantically but she helped me resolve my dyslexia.
Money is supposed to represent a store of value earned by an economy's participants. Forcing those participants to spend or invest it under threat of confiscation by inflation is not only immoral but also ultimately counterproductive because it interferes with market forces and leads to malinvestment and unstable market prices.
For better and most often worse the U.S. economy requires continuous economic growth in order to support it's debt-based structure. A $1.00 of debt today requires $1.03 of consumption next year otherwise the debt interest can't be serviced. This is why the Federal Reserve is so hell bent on preventing deflation, even going so far to say that a moderate amount of inflation is a "good thing". This fact is most critical for the U.S. Government itself since it is the largest issuer of debt in the economy. Sharing and frugality are incongruent with such a system so we'll see much more pushback if the sharing trend picks up steam.
If Apple was worried about cannibalization why would they make the 5C available for preorder one week before the more expensive 5S? In other words, it doesn't seem like they're worried.
Some of the geeks at those hackathons have body builder physiques and are obvious users of anabolic steroid cocktails, which generally contain a mix of steroids, Diet Tab, and peanut M&M's.
The family started shunning technology after Blair asked his son Trey to join him in playing outside. Unfortunately, Trey opted to continue swiping his tiny fingers on daddy's iPad and, in the process, unwittingly sentenced his family to a year of let's-pretend-it's-not-2013.
So what we have here is a narcissistic man who fathered children to support his fragile ego rather than to bring life into the world. When those kids hit puberty and start really declaring their independence the dad is going to send them both to the ice age.
I predict a day in the not-to-distant future where lazy consumers will tire of having to touch their devices to unlock them and will demand a DNA sensor that lets you unlock phones by spitting at them. I wouldn't want to be sitting in the front row of that Apple media event.
Left to its own devices the music industry will revert to the lowest common denominator in search of profit, with no-talent acts like Kate Perry, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift receiving the most production and marketing investments. Perhaps it's time for a more egalitarian approach to mainstream music, where talent rise to the top instead of the performer with the biggest boobs or prettiest face.
Not taking anything away from this young man's abilities but what struck me most about the article was his high school principal, Enkhmunkh Zurgaanjin. To quote from the article:
The answer has to do with Battushig's extraordinary abilities, of course, but also with the ambitions of his high-school principal. Enkhmunkh Zurgaanjin, the principal of the Sant School, was the first Mongolian to graduate from M.I.T., in 2009, and he has tried since then to bring science and technology labs to his students. "My vision," he told me, "is to have more skilled engineers to develop Mongolia. To do that, everything has to start from the beginning."
Here is a man who graduated from M.I.T. but rather than entering the private sector to cash in on his hard work he instead went back to his home country to bootstrap his fellow countrymen. Kuods to this man.
1) Electrically shocked when using a malfunctioning generic cable
2) Financially shocked when you learn what Apple charges for a genuine cable
stays together. Now let's all gather around the fireplace and take turns throwing copies of the Bill of Rights into the fire to stay warm.
Maybe their researchers should spend their time porting the site to a language with faster runtime performance.

That was one hell of an exhaustive review of the new UI. Kudos to Ars Technica. And thanks to the /. article submitter.

That way they cut out the middleman and get right to the motherload of personal information taken from people without their consent.
And see how long their "real names" policy lasts.

The plan is to use it less. So let's call it a wash.

nasdaq.com is a simple front-end fluff site for viewing quotes and doing basic company research. No critical systems or customer data.
2 bottles of red wine
1 can of whip cream
4 extra large cucumbers
1 can Crisco cooking grease
1 box Trojan condoms
1 package of Marlboro Lights
That's gotta count for something.
