this would be like those pulsar things that would be an extraordinary amount of energy if they radiated in all directions, but reasonable if it were a pulse of directed energy. which begs the question - why are they pointed at earth? one solution is clear. angels. it's a wonderful life!
Why would anyone buy an iPhone in the third quarter, when it was widely rumored Apple was set to introduce a new iPhone beginning of Q4? (in other words, the only meaning market share numbers for this industry are annualized.)
in CA all the utility power is "decoupled", which means that electricity is sold at cost while the utility makes all of its money of off its installed infrastructure. This way they don't give a hoot if you get your electrons from a power plant or a solar panel. in fact, every person who installs a solar panel needs a utility upgrade to connect it to the grid, and the utility makes $$ off of that in perpetuity.
Much of the us infrastructure was built prior to 1900, when end uses we're capped at 110 volts for reliability. Much of the European infrastructure was built after 1900, when the end use limitations were solved. So they did 220 v since it w as more efficient.
goog loves naive people to use their service so they can slurp up more info than NSA. inb4 everybody else is the same: bing is better because goog has both adsense and double-click, which lets them track people across the entire internet. bing has less capability to track people outside of their site.
Do you work at apple???? Do you have a crystal ball???? For all you know it was the most successful product ever but SJ discontinued it to focus on consumer.
if it's for corporate purposes just use share point.
I'm left wondering if AC simply has a romantic attraction to noh8rz10. Things like that happen, after all.
yes, it's quite common and often a pain. what am i, a piece of meat?
well the other judge is saying it's not ok so your judge can stuff it
"commie" -> "slashdot
cmon. nobody saying it's right what the NSA did, we're just saying that it is naive to think that US is alone in this regard.
naive. if US is doing this, then Chinese and Russians are doing it too.
i wonder if many companies were listed from around the world, but spiegel focused on US companies because the anti-american angle works well for them.
WOW, full circle. welcome back to my lawn!

Not gonna happen. They do an annual fall release.
Sammy and Moro are trying to extort unreasonable fees. Motogoog is in front of eu right now for monopoly abuse.
i also like to replace wifi card, etherNIC, and fans.
i think it's cheaper to have middling computers every 2-3 year cycle than a gargantuon every 6 years
beep beep beep alert!

First mover problem.
100% agreed. Most professionals agree that you should need a license to handle anything above 110V.
Probably what will happen is apple will buy all of the Taiwanese cell providers, then set prices as they like.
One thing that isn't brought up enough when discussing external expansion is external power supplies. So much for compact size.
The power supply is built into the Mac Pro. See the photos of the ports.

How do you know how much units were sold, when most peeps at apple don't know that???? Methinks you have a big butt and you are speaking with it
I miss the Xserves too, but Apple just wasn't selling enough of them to justify the engineering time required to stay in that line of business.

how do you know that? I don't think you do.
Because it's not a piece of art. It's a tool.
you're a tool!
