    I'm an Admin that is currently trying to wring as much performance as possible out of brand new hardware because someone chose to make FoxPro the DB of choice for a 400 user app. Yay. Instead of going with a real DB they think the hardware is not tuned correctly.

    It has been my experience that these extra levels of admin control have been put in place in reaction to developers (and admins too) that make changes on the fly to production systems that cause companies thousands while the "fix" is being fixed.

    In Winston-Salem NC lines were were outside the building according to a friend. I am unable to donate for medical reasons, but just donated money online to the Red Cross. It took 2 minutes, look upward for links on how to contribute.

    With such a day full of sorrow I take some solice by the fact that Americans from all walks of life are coming together to help one another in the wak of this tragic.

    I can count over 500 Novell 4.12 servers in my "Network Neighborhood" and I'm at a fortune 100 company.

    The strange CLI gets some better with Netware5. Heck, you can even run Perl or Java scripts from the command line on the console.

    Caldera+Netware services is where it is at if you are a Novell shop.
