Most men prefer jobs that are about things. Most women prefer jobs that are about people.
It's the truth but yet a lot of people just put their fingers in their ears and go "la-la-la-I-can't-hear-you" because they think it's not politically correct. Well, fuck you politics.
It could depend on the brand, the type of rice and where you buy it.
I live in a small town without a Costo so I buy my rice at a grocery store and a 4.54kg bag of Tilda brand, basmati rice costs around 17$CAD, or 3.75$CAD/kg which is basically the same price as in Montreal so Guspaz probably also used a grocery store price.
Keep in mind that some food costs a lot less in the U.S.A. than in Canada, but doing a Canadian grocery store vs U.S.A. Costco price comparison is pointless.
You mean like the exchanges we have today? No need to sell everything at once. If he had paid fractions of a cent or even a few cents per Bitcoin, it means a lot of profit even if Bitcoin is down to 200 dollars.
You only need to sell 14 Bitcoins per day at 200 dollars and you're a millionaire within a year.
And are you comparing the purchasing power of that 20$/200$ with the prices in Cuba or the prices in the U.S.A.?
Granted, if Netflix are actually asking 7.99 U.S. dollars per month from Cubans, they'll have a problem. Unless they meant it was for the whole of Cuba? Maybe they'll be able to afford it. Just use the same resolution as a VideoCD but with the compression capabilities of H.264 and that will also solve the bandwidth problem.
We will not sacrifice our freedom. We've made too many compromises already; too many defeats. They spy on us and we let it happen. They add spyware to our devices and we let it happen. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And *WE* will make them pay for what they've done!
I only use Windows for gaming and I already have a few games with monthly fees. If I need to pay a monthly/yearly fee to keep using that PC, I'll just ditch it and buy a Nintendo or Sony console instead without ever considering anything from Microsoft.
A more economical solution is to take the fuel that was used to create the electricity and burn it directly to create heat. (Generally about 20%-30% more efficient overall).
Not all countries use fuel to generate electricity. I don't know about Greece, but your comment seems to be the typical American reply when someone talks about creating electricity.
If the kernel doesn't fit the usual versions model, why not just go with the freakin' date?
Linux Kernel 2015-02
You're right Rideak.

Lotto relies on pure chance and usually only has one jackpot winner.
Buying Bitcoins early in the game was equivalent to buying penny stocks.
Where can you buy 12.5 acres of land for 300$? And Anon-Admin says he sold "some" of his Bitcoins, so that's not even all of 300$.

Funny and yet somehow appropriate reply coming from Ralph Wiggam.
If you had gotten Bitcoins very early, ten dollars could have made you a multimillionaire.

If it's required just to play online with other people, then that just leaves Nintendo as the only gaming company which isn't run by insane people.
Nintendo doesn't have any fees for games that support online multiplayer. ... not that they have a lot of those in the first place.
Would you prefer a bunch of coffee crisp?

Then buy a dumb computer monitor. All we really need is a display with inputs, after all.
Well, at least it's not over nine thousand dollars.

Look at this on eBay.
Those are sold listings with free shipping.
In Canada I couldn't even get a stamp for a postcard or letter at that price.
Probably nothing, but Slashdot doesn't care since it means more ads.
Not V-Giny?

Why "DSCOVR"? That's even worst than an MS-DOS filename.

Not someone else, everyone. If I could have a word with my younger self, I'd kick him in the ass.
