Actually you are wrong. It looks like consumption was roughly 60 to 70% of what it was before and after prohibition. That is not a "very low rate". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A...

After the prohibition was implemented alcohol continued to be consumed. However, how much compared to pre-Prohibition levels remains unclear. Studies examining the rates of cirrhosis deaths as a proxy for alcohol consumption estimated a decrease in consumption of 10–20%.[4][5][6] One study reviewing city-level drunkenness arrests came to a similar result.[7] And, yet another study examining "mortality, mental health and crime statistics" found that alcohol consumption fell, at first, to approximately 30 percent of its pre-Prohibition level; but, over the next several years, increased to about 60–70 percent of its pre-prohibition level.[8]

So drinking an ounce of mouthwash is equivalent to drinking between 188 and 321 ounces of water. In standard 8 ounce glasses of water that would be between 23.5 and 40 glasses of water.

So you may have a point if you drink a couple of gallons of tap water a day. I am going to guess that you don't though, so I would recommend that you drink your 8 glasses of water a day and don't drink your mouthwash.

While it is certainly possible you got a bad one, the only time I have ever seen a charging port messed up like you describe was when the device had not been taken care of properly. Maybe you can find a S3 with a broken screen on Ebay and use the parts from it. I am unfamiliar with the guts of a S3 but I was able to replace the USB port on a Nexus 7 (1st gen) in about 10 minutes. You might also try to use a dock, it helps prevent damage cause it holds the phone in the correct position. The iffy port on the Nexus 7 would charge while on a dock but not on a cable alone.

    For a number or reasons.
    A) No vaccine is 100% effective.
    B) Some children/people CANNOT get the vaccine because they are immuno compromised. Like that are in the middle of chemo.

The reason we do not commonly see the disease anymore is because there are enough immunized people that the disease has a hard time spreading. If you increase the number of people that are not immunized it is easier for the disease to spread. This would normally be fine with me. You want to watch your kids suffer for your stupidity, then by all means have at it. The issue here though is you make it easier to spread to those who got the vaccine and it didn't take and you make it easier to spread it to the kids with cancer or are otherwise immuno-surpressed.

That is the real issue. You not getting your germ magnets immunized can lead to someone else loosing their kid. Frankly in that situation if you or your kids have genetically the same virus then I think you should be liable in civil proceedings for their death or disfigurement.

I do not condone just killing animals for no reason, but killing 3% of the horeshoe crabs (for a good reason) does not even show up on my radar. My main point with the one liner is that they are not nearly as endangered/threatened as the person I was replying to had implied.

If the animals were actually endangered I would not be in favor of catching wild ones, but I would probably be in favor of trying to breed them in some sort of horeshoe crab farm if that was possible. Shoot maybe they even taste good.
