Trying to clean up the cruft (so tedious) and solving any potential problem(s) or combination thereof by hand is more time consuming than starting from a clean slate. If you already have a decently upkept system (like i had) i could agree with you but it is a rare case. In fact i almost kept my in place upgrade but then my clean system obsession kicked in.
Don't you dare touch my 192.168.0.0/16! I have claims in 169.254.0.0/16, 10.0.0.0/8 and 172.16.0.0/12 too! You'll have to pry them from my cold dead routers!
Furthermore, another question popped up in my mind: how come none of the competitors discovered this in their testing of VW cars? Perhaps they're doing this too so they didn't want to blow the lid?
Someone should have leaked this a looong time ago. Perhaps some dev, why not. Hell it would have saved VW a lot of money! Think about recalling 1mln cars instead of 11mln! Did VW really think it could get away with this indefinitely? Fucking corporate morons...
I was not referring to the "right to be forgotten". That's bullshit. We tech people know that. Once the beans are spilled there's no way to put them back wherever they came from. I was referring to privacy laws.
When i read "Windows 10" i read "surveillance".
When i read "Skype" i read "NSA surveillance".
Once i was laughed at for being paranoid.
I always knew i was Cassandra instead.
And the reasoning behind the need to block these videos is? Protecting... uhm... the princess' privacy? Perhaps it's just the last tale of woe from the 'corporate bullying' department?
I just love to play with the ambiguities of language and with the english language it's almost too easy.
Totalitarian regime goes hand in hand with the chinese government.
I struggle to see the news.
I didn't read TFA but i think these advertisers are using a feature.
Am i wrong?

Yup but at least you can remove them from those systems.
If you're aware of the problem, of course.
They would lose all the NSA^H^H^H^H telemetry features!
Why would you not accept such privilege?
Got something to hide, citizen?
Don't waste your time.
If you're upgrading from Win7\8\8.1 do an in-place upgrade just to pass your product key on to win10 then format.

I can defend myself on the net, i am more concerned about corporations which (have to) have my real info. They must be strictly kept in check.
Show yourself, coward!
Do they feature an NSA-enriched firmware?

You should move to the EU, we actually have something like that.
Oh look M$\fed shills downvoting negative comments! Color me surprised!

That's some very suspicious "testing", kids.
What are you up to?
Perhaps in bed with some three-lettered thugs?
Just like these comments.
A comment should be a comment about whatever the article is about.
Anything else is, by definition, off-topic.
Science has indeed gone too far!
Meucci akhbar!
Friggin great, more windoze-like flat bullshit.
Mod parent up. There's a time and a place for energy saving and sometimes it's NEVER.
