    If you were right cities wouldn't expand their wifi networks and coffee shops and McDonalds wouldn't have wifi either. There are multiple avenues and ways to accomplish this task. Just like more public transport and less centralizing of commercial areas alleviate traffic.

    You need a 10th the speed (25mps) the top comment asks about for 4K streaming from Netflix. What higher video quality in general are you talking about?

    I'm for forcing companies especially large/interstate ones to form charters and of those charters have liable parties, or at least make the board of directors and top execs personally liable. I'm also for letting cigarette companies advertise on tv and such.

    Amazon basics usually lets me know what the lowest quality item is and to avoid ones that look like it, because you know it's the same distributor under a different name.

    That was one of the best features of windowsphone, it had this people page that all of your contact you had social media links to would also display. Facebook, twitter, etc all on one page, it was really nice.

    I assume it's because then juries would often go, "These laws are fucking stupid" or "he's not guilty of most of this." and acquit him, can't have that now.

    There are plenty of taxes on gas, gas guzzling cars, two seat cars, etc in Europe. I would pass doubt that most of their cost is externalized in Europe at this point.

    Weight. EVs weigh more than ICE cars. We've also seen that Tesla's can't even make it around the race track without issues like overheating.

    So first you spend more on an electric car, and then you get to rent vehicles you need for "normal" tasks like a road trip, going camping, weekend trip, visiting family for the holidays, going to the nice movie theater almost two hours away, etc etc. First they need large pickup and SUV EVs, which we don't have. Then they need a refueling stop that is close to as fast as ICE use. Then they'll need a better/cheaper battery replacement. Even then, you aren't saving much money, and it's been proven it's better for the environment to buy a used car then a new one.

    Another article I read also says repair requests were made and ignored. So Boeing is even less likely at fault.

    If you said, for a touch screen cellphone with a 6inch display and 4k video recording people wouldn't have thought it crazy. Sounds cheap considering 15 years considering my sony cell phone had an attachment camera that shot in under 1 mega pixel.

  17. I think this game sold well based on rep, I know most people stopped playing it by their own metrics before the first 1/3rd of the game is completed. They made it too slow for the audience. I haven't gotten on RD2, but loved RD1 and would play it at a slower pace. Going on lots of diversions, etc.

  18. Probably train robberies whenever they want, lots of shootouts, etc. They wanted the best scenes from westerns, not the middle part where they rode across the desert over a month.

  19. What is 35mm film really equivalent to when it comes to 4K, 1080, etc? Can the film pick up the detail to translate to HD?

  20. People want more variety in these games. They all have limited mission types, boring play mechanics for things like, fetch water/chop wood/gather plants/etc.

    Stores usually just raise their costs. I can often get 5% off from Target, etc if I ask for a cash discount.

    It was a short lived scam, the real issue was that they government didn't stop printing paper dollars.

    Techies tend to live where the jobs are, not where they want to. So many techies like to live rural when they can remote in for their jobs.
