In my opinion they should actually do the opposite.. replace android with chrome base OS.. with off-line storage and native app support of-course.
With chrome based OS developers can just use HTML5/javascript for making apps which I feel would be easier than android sdk, maybe I am wrong.
They have the best javascript engine. They are anyway replacing the webkit engine with their own which should be better and more like a desktop OS. Sometime back they hired WebOS Enyo framework people from HP. But I would really like if they bring chrome OS to mobile.
What Bill Gates is saying is that right now there is a very small market segment for MS for targeting people who want to use office without carrying a laptop and that if Apple or any developer can create a competing office product which also supports MS format it can kill Surface totally because then Surface has nothing to compete against iPad.

Today most of the religious violence in India are sponsored/supported by corrupt politicians, so we cannot really say that one religion is more violent than another in India. There is hatred and violence among different communities not just in terms religion but also in terms of caste, language, etc. There is a lot of violence against women which are committed by people of every religion.
So even if you remove all the Muslims from India you will see people taking offense with caste, sex. It's a problem with people attitude.
There is Solar, unless you want to say that manufacturing solar cells would pollute the planet. But then you cannot find anything that is clean because nothing is "clean" unless you store it in a vacuum. So when people say clean they always mean cleaner w.r.t to others.
And as I said there is only one answer which is renewable energy but then there is no point telling you because you are so damn arrogant and ignorant that you would write any bullshit to prove your point.
