Don't get me wrong, I do have 2 macs and a Developer ID and do iOS development work for In-House deployment. In addition to the other development work i do.

But from top to bottom, it is all about regulation (by Apple) and control (by Apple). Those who have not been through the development process from beginning to end. Have no idea how many hoops you need to jump through. I think one spends almost as much time getting the app deployed. As is spent developing it. And things are changing all the time. Such that even the individuals at Apple give bad advise about how to go about things. But I will also say, this they do try to help ;)

I will also say this, while the learning curve was very steep. Now that I know my way around quite well. The 2+ years of on the side self education was worth it.

"We can't take any more cuts and still do the job that the American public needs us to do -- there simply will not be the staff available on duty to issue the forecasts and warnings upon which the country depends," said Dan Sobien, the president of the National Weather Service Employees Organization.

To government bureaucrats a decrease in their next years budget increase is a hideous cut that will kill millions.

I say we compromise with a 10% across the board real cut to all non-defense, discretionary federal spending right now. If this actually happens. Lets hit defense, let some pentagon desk generals, staffs, drivers, house maids, yada, yada go, close most over seas bases, let most countries worry about their own defense, and cut the size of our military.

Then once that is done we will need to deal with discretionary spending (yes the so called entitlements) since that is where all the real money goes.

America went bankrupt a decade or so ago, along with several states. The government bureaucrats and politicians have been successful hiding this fact from most American people. But the (you know what) will hit the fan in the next 5 - 10 years and this whole house of cards is coming down.

Wonder what the spenders and takers will say then.

Adobe, Java, Skype runs 24/7 update processes that I keep just killing and they keep coming back. I do all my normal work on a normal user account, which means these programs fail trying to auto install updates because on my Windows 7 Pro box they do not have permissions.

These programs are a plague that expects their users to run their computers (as admin) on a day to day basis. They encourage poor security habits.

Not sure about all the Switzerland talk. So as a US citizen I am required to pay taxes (the government takes their cut, under the penalty of law,. not because I think the amount is right) but I should just trust and not comment on how government uses tax dollars?

The road should be purchased by the corporations that want to use it and they should pay all ongoing/upgrade costs and property taxes due on said private property.

The tax payers should not be expected to just hand over public property at no charge or accept the cost of improving or operating a public property for the sole benefit of specific corporations.

For driver less cars to actually work, the roadways must be totally redesigned and embedded with some type of sensor network, etc. And driver less can not mix with self driven vehicles the way I see things going. Also, they will only work in the next 20-30 years in pristine conditions. Thus no snow, ice, heavy rains, etc.
