    Yes. You have to use whats called chainloading. I have 2 scsi disks, win98(sda1) & Linux(sda2) on the first, and Win2k (sdb1) exclusevely on the second.

    My sentiment's exactly. I'm in a similar situation such as yourself. Currently, I don't own or carry a phone, though my company wants me to carry a blackberry pager. While it is cool to be able to read my email on the train, I find that the unit itself is usless for anything else. (The paging service doesn't even work!) And now my visor doesn't get as much use as a result. I do plan to get the visorphone although I am troubled somewhat by the fact that the phone won't work in europe. Handspring does imply that later generation phones may be able to work in the EU as well as the US. I may get the phone regardless depending on what people have to say about the service

    I just odered some stuff from Amazon today, actually.

    I realize others may have said this before me, but if you can get your account reset then then you have complete control over how they can communicate with you.

    I can see why they (amazon) wouldn't give out the password without some verification, because if they do, then they would be basicaly be giving out your credit-card number! Dude, I don't think you a leg to stand on. Amazon was only covering their asses...and yours.

    Wow! I didn't know that! I have an SMP rig Thanks for the heads up.

    I'm curious though, Which Card would you recommend? All I want is 4 speaker output, and Linux and Win2k compatability.

    I know it's supported in the 2.4.0-test kernels, but I have yet to try the 4Dwave under linux.

    Soundcard drivers are not up to snuff yet.

    You're telling me? I'm still waiting for 4 Speaker output on the Trident 4DWave NX (from Hoontech)which I had under NT4.

    I may break down and buy a SB Live if this doesn't get fixed very soon.

    My screen goes black on the menu - never in the game.

    I should've specified that, Yes the screen goes black on the Menu. On occasion, It happens If It fails to connect to a server. It never happens in-game.

    DirectX is somewhat buggy, Some games behave Strangly on Win2k.

    The SIMS: I get no Sound.

    Half-Life: OpenGL isn't to good (I think it's a Driver Issue). So I use DX; and sometimes my Screen goes black and there's no way to recover except to kill hl.exe

    And lastly some Apps Can't handle the Multi-user aspect, and refuse to run (eg, Palm Desktop).

    I personaly own one and I love it. I'm not 100% sure (because I've only used it with Win98/2K and Linux,) but It will work with anything that can use TCP/IP 10/100BT. It can act as a DHCP client or as a server. And it will handle PPPoE for the machines that can't do it. As well as Port Forwarding/ Filtering, snd DMZ host.

    I'm a grown adult, and I can't believe I watch it every Sat. I used to be (and still am!) a major fan of the original Transformers. I think Beast Machines has been a faithful and worthly Successor to the Series. It almost feals like the CG art is how they (BM) were always supposed to be portraid. I love it!

    My only wish is if Mainframe would redo the Original series.

    try it with a 4:1 conversion rate, takes up 90% cpu on an old 486, but it works

    at 441khz No stereo, only mono.....
    at 22khz you can get stereo, although sound quality sucks...

    The only thing up is a gif which says Happy New year. There's no way to access the rest of the site.

    Recently ISOs of the FreeBSD distribution have begun to show up more widely, which makes it easier for people to try it.

    And where exactly may I find these iso's? I poked around freebsd.org and couldn't find anything.
