I'm sorry, but I believe it (except the connection on the ground). Looking at the photos I think I might be in the same Business park as the poster.
I had to fight with Qwest to get DSL because they said it was a fiber only market.....except there is no fiber anywhere in that part of town. After the order went through, it took them 10 days to get a tech to come out an install it. The tech terminated the pair at the DMARC then didn't tag it. I had to have another tech come out and tag it. Then to make the cross connect I opened the box and was hit with a rats nest that took about 10 minutes to figure out what pair was mine. I ordered a second DSL line and had to go through the same Issues of convincing them I could only get DSL and not fiber. The pairs got connected but not tagged and were also in the wrong panel so I had to run wires from one end of the Suite hub to the other. On top of that, they left the modem on top of the Gas Main, in Iowa, in November.
The target market is everyone. After they influence the UBA into spreading their influence to mandate it as an Air Pollution measure for a better environment...a better world.
That's all fine and dandy but all of the Safari crashs I've had in the past 2 years have been flash plug in related.
Secondly, watching a YouTube video at 480p on my 2.5GHz Core2 Duo takes ~35% of the CPU time available. Watching the same video using the HTML5 version, ~3% of the CPU time available. Even if they did drop it down to 16%, that is still a lot to make vertical mobile Hardware/Software vendors cringe at the power consumption.
Flash is cool because it has a large enough install base at this point you can say it is a compatible way to display rich media in a web page that displays on 99% of the computers in the US. I can't think of any other good things about flash, even if they fix the horrible CPU usage.
If there are federal funds involved, all tax payers are paying for the systems.
Actually, the residents of the state of New Jersey (like many states) pay more in taxes to the federal government than it receives in federal funds. So any federal funds paid to New Jersey can technically be considered a return of their own taxes.
That is a load of crap. There would be no point in pay taxes to the federal government if they just gave it back with strings attached. There are other things taxes get you at the federal level....like a standing army to protect your state from Canada.
To put it into prospective, I have 80KW 3 Phase Natural Gas generator that at full load takes about 200 cubic feet of Natural Gas an hour.
Current rates for residential Natural Gas are ~14.20 dollars per thousand cubic feet. At full load producing 80KW it costs about 68.20 dollars to run for a day producing enough electricity to power the neighborhood. So, we have an 80KW generator for $10K, another $10K for installation, the remaining $28K can run it for another 400 days.
There aren't any economics of scale for this pricing either. residential rates are about 2x that than commercial rates for gas and efficiencies power generation increase with larger scale.
So yes, a mere 6kw of theoretic peak power creation for 48k. That doesn't include the maintainence required for the installation, nor the reduced winter power nor the diminished output over the life of the system.
- IMHO Connor Chronicles was the last almost ok Sci fi production...
It was, until there was a 4 - 5 episode run of stupid in season 2 that made it unbearable to watch. Pair that with the extremely mediocre Dollhouse at there was no incentive to watch it.
Apparently you don't understand that financial risk that has to be assumed by the company. It does have long term viability. The fuel is relatively cheap and the power output is of great quality and predictable, however, regulation and panic are hard to compensate for.
Take for example Shoreham Power plant that was slated come online in full production when the NY government denied a license and essential killed the projected before it came online. In that case, NY residence picked up most of the couple thousand million dollar tab for the closure, but it was still a loss.
Also, the resurgence of "Clean Technology" groups and law makers see Nuclear energy as unneeded, dirty and not conforming to the renewable energy battle cry. I'll also bet that there are additional restrictions of "non clean" technology in the energy bill that was just passed by congress. I'm lazy tonight, so you only get Wikipedia links.
When I was in High School I was more bothered by the "Required by State Law to attend" and "Required by State Law to submit to search of persons or property while on campus." That was in the late 1990's. I can't imagine what it is like now in this post 9/11 post Littleton world.
I'm confused by a number of his recommendations. LVM storage is default for most distros now. There are a few things that he suggests...like keep forcing disk syncs, that slow down the processes and still allow for files to change as you read them.
2005 called, they wanted to let you know snapshots are stable.
We lease it from Cuba. That's kind of the entire purpose of housing them there and not Ft. Bragg or a California Supermax. . Though if I recall, they've only cashed one of our checks since the 50s
The scary precedent I was talking about was the extension of US Law not just beyond our borders, but to people that are not citizens of the United States. People that were never in the United States or granted Citizen status in the United States.
In this case it is habeas corpus to non Citizens not in the US. Next it is a pot smoker in Canada or Boar hunter in Cambodia or guy eating an endangered smelt in Mexico.
The system worked? Isn't this decision scary? Doesn't it grant precedence to Federal Law and Jurisdiction to extend beyond the borders of the United States?
I'm a Systems Administrator for a company that could be one of the "Windows Provides Lower TCO" stories. I even think we've been approached about using our name. Unfortunatly, we're a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, which means we have 25+ "Free" licenses for Windows Server products and 100+ "Free" licenses for Windows Desktop products. It still takes 2 people to support the windows side of the business, but the licensing cost for our production environment can be considered free on the ledger.
Because there isn't a damn thing in this world that gives you the right to hold a gun to person's head and demand that they bear a child for your fucking whims? Forcing unwanted children into this world is entirely inconsistent with a free society. If you want a harem of brood mares, move to Saudi Arabia with the rest of the scum who want to live in that sort of society.
You're equating right of a human parasite to the slavery, internment, and mistreatment of women in a Wahhabi state under Sharia law? Killing and depriving women of life and freedom has the same bounds as everyone else. You cannot deprive others of life, and that is what killing a human parasites is doing. There is no inconsistency.
If they're "tethered" to the mother, then they are not an individual they're a parasite plain and simple. See above. It is the same as killing the weak, old and annoying....its just easier when they are 2 pounds instead of 100 pounds.
This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Indeed
It ain't your land and it ain't your home, Sparky. Are you talking of private property or the country in general? I guess it doesn't matter.
Get walking. It's good to walk.
If you don't like that option, then consider why you're trying to bring us down to their level. If you've got a beef with Saudi Arabia, seek an audience with King Abdullah. Unless you're a woman, then you should be happy to live here.
"PS I'm not for Ron Paul, his foreign policy style would drive us to Pre-WWII days.....which if you didn't notice, led to WWII."
His policy is the same as the US, Britain, France, Austria, Belgium, etc, post WWI. Isolationism is silly and ignores the overriding issue of another stated goal of "My way or death" will eventually bleed over into your borders and making deals of concession with threats leads to "Peace in our time." He would also lobby to stop ALL foreign aid, which would piss off the world more than sending our army around to kill people and break things.
Grandparent: remove the constitutionally protected women's right to choose Parent: Yes Paul wants to make abortion illegal, not because God said so though, because he thinks it's ethically wrong. That argument is much more reasonable to me, than using a book that doesn't even say abortion as a basis.
The Grandparent is for killing people. Why is it illegal to kill a 1 year old because they're crying but not a viable baby still in the womb? Why isn't putting a child down because of a chickenpox a choice between me and my doctor? The real question is how to you view the rights as an individual. Just because the individual is still tethered to a mother, does that mean we shouldn't protect them? At the very least the child is a ward of the state. When does the constitution apply people? When they leave the mother? When their heart beats? When synapsis fire? Where in the constitution is "for the continued progress of these United States, in order to provide freedom for women, pregnant woman may consult, in private with her doctor, to remove a viable tissue mass for any reason deemed fit by the woman.?" I simply don't understand.
This wiretaping bill is also silly, and Senator Dodd is usually all about the removal of liberties, but this particular move is good.

Car Sales?

Domestic Production? (This is kind of a strawman as most of the cars on the list are made in the US factories by foreign owned entities, but most GE cars and some of Fords are manufactured in Canada.)

If you read the article. It isn't ment to be a people trail. China want the ability to move materials.

Given that AZ doesn't have these incentives and solar panels are therefore very costly there,
Wouldn't a subsidy increase the real cost by make people less sensitive to it?

The Keno is cool, but if this is really Ancient ancient technology, why haven't they showed up in some other ancient places , like atlantis.
They weren't needed. The plot was able to move forward with M.A.L.Ps instead of expensive CGI Kenos. :)
What you say reminded me of a product poster at Depair

The feature is Group policy. Without it, its just Kerb+LDAP with LDAP backed services. Well, mostly.
