    You and me both. My log file has a total of 6000 + ip address that have hit my modem. Since sunday afternoon.

    I did find something strange. 65 IP addresses hit my modem more than 90 times, mostly in a row. Also I have noticed that UDP (port 6970)and port 53 attacks are up.

    anybody noticing simular stuff

    OH I'm so sick of this guy. If he was an adult they would have had his ass in jail. Instead they taught him that "market manipulation" is OK as long as you pay the fine. He walked away with some of the money he made.

    if you want to learn how to or the art of manipulation, just read some of the older books like "where are all the customers yachts" or "stock operator". that would give you the basics.

    Back in the 80's, when I took a position of 2000 call options or more, I'd have the SEC giving me a call. And they would pester me to see if I was trading on inside information.

    a great protest is one where everyone marches, nobody gets hurt and the other side listens.

    To protect my land. I could care less if you protest. don't destroy my store, car, home.... so far most big protest have lead up to looting or damages.

    Wait until you protest around someones store that has his shotgun, looting starts he will end up killing 3 or 4 people. He was protecting his property and with an overwelming amount of looters coming at him, courts will look at him as a hero, "protecting his livelyhood".

    When my dad had one of his heart attacks. He was offered a prototype device to be inserted into his body. My dad called me in right before the operation ( he was in the surgery room ), there he was, telling the doctor that the royalties from the device were to low and he wanted higher.

    Not only was I laughing loudly, I mentioned to the nurse that the doctor was lucky my dad was tired, otherwise he would have owned half of the product also.

    The point I wanted to make was, that there are many people that think because they are saving your life, you should donate your body to them. My dad proved to me otherwise.

    I always carry stapled to my license what a doctor is to do and contact if I'm dead and where each body part is to be sent ( each part of my body has a value and is being donated at a specific price for tax purpose so my estate will not suffer ) so yes I'm donating my body, but the payback is well worth it ( someone child will see, some child will not have to take a shot every day for thier kidneys, maybe even my hands will help someone play ball,... )

    It should be your right to sue the contractor. Now on the otherhand, did you read the contract?

    I spend a stupid amount of time reviewing contracts for different parties (as a favor to some, I am not a lawyer). and I would like to point out that contracts have so many loop holes and ways of getting screwed.

    So with your example, if the general contractor had no choices in which to secure your home (due to the plans he recieved), the $ 3,000 dead bolt was the correct choice of action. But you could sue him for over charging ( unless you signed a waiver.)

    Until recently country music was the best selling genre. Hip-Hop has taken over within the last 2 years. The difference is that with country music the purchase demand curve is consistant for a long timeand you'll see albums on the charts for a very long time 30 to 60 weeks easy, while the hip hop music is purchased very quickly and demand slacks off within 4 months. you'll see stuff only 30 weeks old falling off the charts that were top 10 hits when they first came out.

    Country music is a very powerful force.

    I can see that this small bathroom curtain discovery being used in modified venturi's for non-fuelinjection cars.

    Hell maybe it will show us that fuel should be delivered hot so that the swerl in the piston chamber is more uniform.

    I think, the best way to picture the nesting ( i think that's the right word ) is to use this example.

    3 high file cabinet, place a safe withing that has a rolodex. You have 1 dimentions of the file cabinetS (top middle bottom) , within 1 cabinet another location that has a the rolodex 26 dimentions.

    the rolodex is a database
    the file cabinet is another database

    The belt drives the alternator. The alternator can use from 1 hp to 5 hp depending on the type.

    I would have to say daily, because it's summer time.

    mostly to set up a very simple speed trap, that protects my daughter and the kids on the block. When the kids go out to play in the park, we set up 2 video camera's and 5 poles. It works rather well, and the police officer gets the tapes and the town gets it's money and the kids are safe.

    It would be a lot quicker to set up everything if the town was metric based.

    What would happen if the box was fully incased in epoxy resin and sent to space with a small solar sail, reciever / transmitter , maybe a detector of some sort.

    could a solar sail act as a transmitter.

    would something like this work?

    I just see little cubes flying all over space giving data back.

    1) mail server
    2) as mentined before a packet sniffer
    3) music buffer
    4) just about any sort of very basic non-i/o intensive server.

    5) maybe ( but not sure ) how about a router ?

    There was a saying back in the 80's, "nobody got fired for buying IBM" along those lines, I would have to think that MS is working. No purchasing agent is willing to risk their job just to try something or nobody ( small minority ) might be willing to take a course on XYZ because it's not popular platform.

    Take for example cobol. Still going strong, but do you anybody that takes a class in it? I was told back in the 80's that it would be dead by the 90's.

    So your not the one that's retarded, it's just MS targeting those with "fear".

    I think there is a case about this. It's under the terms of deep linking. Zackary ( post # 3) is correct. Your only secure about the image if you have a contract for that image. Otherwise you will be subject to the other parties mood ( in your case not so good )

    Also you could consider the bigger problem. Bandwidth theft. I'm not sure of the following ( i don't know of any legal cases ) but from what I have learned is: I can not take an image from your server without your permision. Even if the image is free to use ( public domain). I have to copy it from your site to mine. then I can have it on my site.

    for evidence, there is nothing that currently will surface, but from historical observation, these types of problems always have some sort of money / power issues involved.

    In the last century, during the massive changes of economic cycles 1880 - 1911, there is a constant power fight. We shall see many new and (sad to say ) rulings that will let the strong get stronger.

    Not that I have a problem with it.

    Bobbins dont work at all ( i tried fishing spools and a 1 foot diameter tube, allways snap due to snag or something else. I found that a traffic cone works best. Pain in the butt to wrap, but well worth the excitement.

    As for snapping, solved that making everything close as possible and some tape, I realy don't know about the burn problem, strikes often happen within a blink of the launch.

    Don't laugh, the people down in edgewater don't like me one bit. but the cops can't do anything because all that is left is parts of the launch platform. besides I think they would get a kick out of it.

    I have a question. I am scared of filming this because the lightning sometimes get real close ( about 50 feet from my car but there are 2 parking poles in the way ) anybody know how I could prevent killing my cam corder ?

    side note: only launch when the wind goes away from you and homes, the small rockets I use normal fly 10 to 20 degrees off due to the wind.

    also tungsten wire from the weilding company is too thick. but might work if your willing to make the lauch platform higher.
