If I had that email, I'd send back messages just to mess with them. For example, I'd talk about how one of my friends who worked there said he finally figured out what was going on, and then mysteriously died. Or give them the address of the movie studio where stuff was faked and tell them to go check it out.
The system needs two view points to work. You simply can't take a picture of it, you'd only get the left or right image. Any pictures would have to be mock ups, and no one really wants to see that.
Didn't read the article and I didn't read any posts. I've had one of these since about the first week of June, and they'd been out before then. They're very cool if a bit bulky (I like bulky it means I'm less likely to forget the laptop somewhere.) I got it because I had wanted a desktop but decided I'd get a desktop halfway through college and didn't want to have it just replaced. Plus I never seemed to have enough room on my old computer (233mhz 15" screen 13.something" visable.) The screen is awsome.
MY friends and I were playing with these a while ago. Its fun to charge them and then jump it with a paper clip (which is jammed in to the eraser part of a pencil for safety.) The things spark like crazy. btw its unsafe and dangerous and your own fault if you get hurt with them (don't even think about blaming me, reader. You stupid little jerk!)
I played doa2 on ps2 for 6 hours with 2 friends to determine if the match number would go from 99 to 0 or to 100. We got headaches, and we were switching off everytime someone lost. Of course, my hands feel fine. (and it does go to 100)
The story link doesn't work, does any one have a link for the site or a mirror? Thanks.
What if no one talks and everyone just listens....

Right now, on another planet they've constructed a similar device to listen for light signals. Of course they like us haven't bothered sending light signals... (its like trying to find out if someone is on the telephone when neither of you talk.)
I don't use jabber (all my friends are on aol im, and ive been forced into it.) But if aol hooks up with msn's servers could jabber get to aol through msn?
Only for lefties? Come on. I'm a right handed person and i can type one handed (on a full keyboard) faster left handed than i can right. Try it out, type with your left hand on a full key board and then with your right. I'm guessing most people will type faster left handed than right because there are alot of situations where the right is using the mouse and the left hand is running the keyboard. Of course I could be an exception, as I play frisbee left handed, more to the point i throw left handed and catch with either. Another thing that just popped in to my head, if the above proved to be true (its an educated guess that it will work for most people, I could be dead wrong) it might make lefties type faster with their right, because they tend to use the mouse with the left hand.
The only thing I think that is wrong with the key board is the whole mirror image deally, if they make which key is which configureable they could solve that problem, and the $99 might not look like a rip off.
I haven't read all of the comments, but it seems like the major problem most people have with Grub is that they are giving resources and then they have to pay to see the database. Why not offer a search button form the client, that would encourage the use of the clients and have the database free to people that contributed the computers.
I missed the show too and even though I'm 99.999% (attribute the.001% to paranoia) sure we landed on the moon I'm curious about the show. Has anyone posted it on a website? If so I'd like to know the link, thanks.

Actually Eros is on a crash course for earth and the NEAR (Nuke Eros After Rendezvous) mission was to blow it up. Sadly the bomb failed to go off and in a last ditch attempt to nuke the asteroid NASA is trying to reach critical mass by colliding with the asteroid. Cross your fingers, finally we will know which of last weeks polls answers will be right.
On a serious note that is unbelievably impressive. Maybe NASA would have more success if they just jury-rigged all there stuff.
They said they needed another light beam to release the stored one, but can they store more than one beam of light in the stored chamber? Or would putting a second beam through always restore the first? And if it is possible to store more than one, the amount of information that could be stored would be amazing.

Oops forgot something, most laptop bags won't fit it, so you have to get the overpriced Sony one. Its a nice bag and all, but it was expensive
