So if you sell GW stuff on the internet but don't have pictures, just descriptions you should be ok. People can always go to the GW site to see what the stuff looks like, or read White Dwarf.
Ok, but apart from the network adapter, HDD, boot disc, and installation disc, nice black Sony USB keyboard, tiny "notebook" USB mouse and a PS2->VGA Cable (only for sync-on-green monitors).......What has the Sony PS2 Linux kit ever given us?
I have had problems with Opera 7 not blocking popups on a randomly selected website, "sharereactor.com", so I have gone back to phoenix (which I can call phoenix because it's 0.5) just in case at any stage in the future I decide I might want to visit sharereactor.com on a really regular basis...
"News flash - maybe all those smart people can build things like affordable water treatment and evironmentally-friendly/affordable power generation, figure out ways to control a skyrocketing population.."
You seem to be like those people who complain about geeks writing stupid, pointless and fun open source software instead of working on xxx support in the kernel. "News flash" people can do what they want.
p.s. I wildcarded back there with the "xxx" especially as a joke hook- don't let me down.
" They're not sending a pencil. They're 'penciling' in a date for a manned mission. 'Penciling', meaning 'writing'. Either read the article, or boost your IQ. Moron."
Yeah, but they used the phrase wrongly because when you "pencil in" an event you are using an actual date, but not entirely commiting yourself that this will be the actual date of the event, as in "I'll pencil you in for Thursday, but I may have a meeting, so I'll let you know".
The title however says "launch penciled in by....".
I think the thing with disposeable lighters being allowed and refillable ones not is that you could fill the lighter with something other than lighter fuel, but it's still stupid because they let you on with bottled drinks even if they're opened already.

"Then again, also in the minority is almost every human being who ever existed pre-1900."
WTF is this stupid argument? If say 98% of people now had a computer and used it for email, and I told someone they were in the minority for not using email then you'd think it reasonable that they drag up their dead ancestors from days before computers to make themselves look part of a larger group?
Planes are here now in the present (where we live) and the majority think they are cool.
"Thanks anyway, by the way, I already live somewhere really exciting and cool...Cleveland."
The point of long-distance travel is to go to see far-away cool and exciting places. Everyone gets blase about the place where they live, no matter how cool it is.
"That sounds like something from a Japanese tee-shirt."
I was aware of that when I was writing it, but it doesn't detract from the truth of the statement.
The majority of people think that planes are cool.
Some people go to airports and "spot" planes.
Executives love funding new plane designs.
Everywhere there is a love of man-made things that are large and complicated and fun.
Planes can take you somewhere really exciting and cool, they can allow you to visit far-away relatives. They make the world smaller and closer together.
If you don't love planes then you are in the minority.
The problem with home schooling is that your child grows up with minimal social interaction and the only job they are qualified for is "Slashdot Reader".
Yeah, but it looks from the article as if you have to be a "real" company to get it, even if you don't get charged, so the chances of me getting hold of the source seem unlikely.
It could be "leaked" of course, but if the source to Windows itself is available in the same agreement then why haven't we seen the win2000 source leaked yet?
" No, the Pentium series cannot address 2^36 bytes of memory."
I never said the pentium could address 2^36 bytes of memory- I said the pentium pro could.
Your argument seems to be based on out-of-date web pages regarding the pentium series which was to have PAE but the feature was dropped, and later introduced in the p pro.
I blame the fact that the first few hits google gives you are really really old web pages.
Try this:
"The new PAE (physical address extension) flag in control register CR4, bit 5, enables four addi- tional address lines on the processor, allowing 36-bit physical addresses. This option can only be used when paging is enabled, using an advance page-table mechanism provided to support the larger physical address range."...which is from the pentium pro developer's manual.
They had already firebombed the crap out of Tokyo anyway. More people were killed in the Tokyo firebombings than either Hiroshima or Nagasaki (but not both combined).
"2 weeks ago I was at the Tokyo International Animé Festival. And I found it slightly *SHOCK* boring."
Well it was a bit boring, but there was cool stuff, like "Win a Kirby!" and lots of chicks dressed up as anime characters who were real photo-sluts, previews of the animatrix animes, and a life-size statue of Solid Snake.
(What was with that "no photography" sign? Everyone seemed to be ignoring it).
Lots of the anime on the screens there seemed old, although there were a few that were previews of animes that hadn't started yet.
I suppose what it comes down to is what the anime companies wanted to do with their stands- it was their choice...
" If I wanted to watch geeks playing on computers I'd either go to work or get a mirror."
Yeah, better use a 'mirror' in case you slashdot yourself...

Fujin and Raijin would be thunder and lightning, not thunder and fire.
Blerg. Need more coffee.

"Why not just call it Fire and Thunder?"
Or Fujin and Raijin- Japanese for the above. Sounds even cooler.

If I were one of those guys and I read this I would feel pretty pissed-off.

Actually, since the pentium pro you have been able to access 2^36 addresses.

ADV is not a good choice, however. What about when my brother emails me with a subject of "I bought some old ADV anime vids" ??
I suggest "*!SPAM!^", but then this would hurt companies' sensibilities and they would prefer something more along the lines of "advert" than "spam".
