  1. Yeah! For lazy Malware authors! on TeslaCrypt Isn't All That Cryptic · · Score: 1

I predicted this when the first Instance of Cryptolocker came out. Unfortunately a new form of anti-virus will be post mortem decryption. I really don't want people to pay norton/mcafee for these kind of services (But it beats paying the bad guys)

  5. Digg Spy on The Rise of Digg.com · · Score: 1

One feature of digg that I never hear mention of is a little feature called Digg spy:

    http://www.digg.com/spy

What sets digg apart from slashdot is the "no moderator" thing that has been said 264 times. This feature really puts that difference front and center. Digg Spy lets you have a realtime look into the heart of digg. Being able to see the stories as they are dugg lets the user watch as the site "self moderates," which really brings to light what people find interesting and how popular a topic is at any given moment.

Both Digg and Slashdot RSS feeds are my homepage... I guess I'm in the middle on this debate.

hince incompatible with lightgun and STEEL BATTALION. This may just be a "CYA" type "selective compatibility" since all the games work with the wireless controller.

In a surprising move, Fox sold all the property and the rights of Firefly to Universal. Fox will have nothing to do with any more TV or Movies. IMDB has Firefly in the Database with unknown status. According to some news on fireflyfans.net , all the original cast has signed on for the movie.

  11. Re:Paradigm is good stuff. on What Audio System Powers Your Home Theater? · · Score: 1

I use NHT speakers and a Harmon Kardon Receiver. I learned early on that Home Theater and Home Audio are two TOTALLY different things! OK, Home Theater you should look into the quality of the separation of channels (DTS is very good for separation) as well as power (things go BOOM better) subtlety is only really important in home theater for the center channel as compared to all speakers in home audio! You wouldn't want to listen to the Boston philharmonic on my home theater system just the same as hearing the Matrix on my home audio system. $1500 is a good price for a receiver and $1500 will get you a decent set of speakers. But $1500 for both is strechin' it.
