Not anarchism, think of it more as NIMBY. Basically it doesn't affect them, their voting demographic, ergo it's not a problem they should have to deal with. But it's more of subset of Republicans vs the party as a whole.
I discovered this in the late 90's early 2000's when I got a replacement warranty set of Oakley lenses from their call in number. They owned a shit ton of brands even back then. I've since noped out of buying "expensive" brand frames for anything and stick with Walmart brand crap that has a polarized lens. If I lose them, so what? If they get scratched? So what? I bop in to the nearest Walmart and pick up yet another $15-20 pair and replace them in a year or so.
I remember trying to get the Basic programs printed in Penny Power (and later renamed to Zillions) magazine to run on our IBM PC clone in various Basic versions (a, qw, etc). Holy shit was that frustrating. At least you can do copy and paste now. Though to really feel the pain of the past kids need to type all that in by hand!
You're completely off. ColdFusion was created by Allaire. Dreamweaver was created by... eh, I forget and am far too lazy to look it up. At any rate, Dreawmweaver was JUST a WYSIWIG editor before being snapped up by Macromedia. They (Macromedia) integrated CFML support (Macromedia acquired CF as well). Dreamweaver also supports JS/HTML/ASP/JSP/JS libraries at this point (jQuery mobile support being pretty nifty).
ColdFusion had an IDE for a long time that was separate from DW, and once again has its own IDE in the form of CF Builder. And until PHP/ASP jobs start paying what a CFML job pays... "get off my lawn":P.
Look, it's pretty simple. EPA tests (which show on the window sticker) are based on following speed limits, not accelerating like a bat out of hell, NOT using A/C, not letting a car warm up for 15 minutes during the winter, etc.
IF you follow the limits, IF you don't set the A/C to either broil steaks or freeze a turkey, IF you drive defensively and not looking to occupy the next hole in traffic, a Prius can pretty handily return 50-60 MPG tanks in a state like North Carolina. Terrain, temperature, and your own right foot will either make it higher or lower than that.
I'm amazed that in 75 posts, Aptana is mentioned once? They're not pushing hard enough into the market;). I really enjoy Eclipse because:
My sites are stored in subversion... use subclipse for that
My sites are also stored in ftp... use Aptana for that
I'm looking to branch into android... use the Android SDK plugin
Use jQuery and other JS tools... there's a plugin for that
So far, the only thing that Aptana really fails me at is UI design when coding CFML templates. That's the only reason I haul out Dreamweaver anymore. And even that's a rare day as most of my time is spent cutting up templates for CMS integration. Someone else has already done the Photoshop/Illustrator -> HTML work before me.
Sadly, no. It appears to be more of a framework that B&N has built up then any one app that can be installed. The devs that have spoken to that question all seem to give the answer of "way too much effort". Hopefully, someday, B&N will release a full fledged version of their android app that also includes the magazine and kids books feature.
I dunno... we have 2 adults and 5 kids in my family. Our typical water usage is between 3000 and 5000 gallons in a month. That's based on three years of usage data. Then again, we're in North Carolina, and not California.
I jumped onto the SERO bandwagon on the 10th of this month. Problem is, SERO as it was is no longer. That plan now runs $59 dollars before taxes. Still cheaper, but not as good a deal as it was before.
No, no... you've not lived until you've had to deploy RPG on Unibol 400! Now, that is just the bees knees to make AS400 native code run emulated on Windows NT (and linux). I don't wish that on my worst enemies.

Am I the only one thinking "wait, you played it on Win 95? Heathen!"

For that matter, honeycumb is running on the NookColor as well.
WTF... did no one actually get this? That shits funny right there.
I'm sorry, is that shenanigans being called on me?
