Do you mean Ozma/Tip? Ozma was a girl who was magically transformed into a boy (and back again) by a witch. I'm not sure that really counts as "transgender".
I've been watching DS9 on DVD. Is Berman responsible for all these Vic Fontaine episodes? Because I'm really get sick of them. Last night I watched the "Oceans 11" episode. I mean, Seriously?!? WTF?
It is that judges will do whatever the hell they feel like.
Why is Tivo always the example?

GPLv2 Vs. GPLv3

You decide there is a feature in the Tivo which you don't particularly like - maybe not being able to skip ads or something, and you decide you want to change it. Free software gives you the right to change things you don't like.
As I understand it, the only part of Tivo's software than is GPL is the Linux Kernel. I doubt that the code that does the interesting things like record shows or (not) skip commercials is GPL. What kind of interesting things would people actually do if the hardware would run modified code?
Ethanol is added to gasoline to reduce carbon monoxide emissions and ground-level ozone as an alternative to MTBE. Greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide) have nothing to do with it.
Actually, one of the nice things about PBL is the "Self-Service Removal Mechanism". If you are running an outgoing mail server on your pseudo-static dsl ip address, you can easily remove it from the PBL.
Even if spammers can send spam through ISP relays, most of them don't (at least not yet). Just yesterday, 23 spams were blocked by PBL on just my personal email address. I'm sure that many people see much higher results.
Out of the box, both Distros offer the same capabilities, and lack of proprietary drivers, codecs, etc. The user has to do it for themselves by going to third part websites for these. The difference is that Ubuntu has been talking about including more "proprietary drivers, codecs, etc" in future versions.
I recently switched to a grep replacement written in Perl for most of my code searching needs and can't tell the difference in speed. More importantly, the time it saves ME by doing what I mean is more than worth the additional cpu time required by the computer.
Many already do but not enough to stop greylisting from being ineffective. Even if all you do is delay the message you still increase the chance that the message can be blocked by other means.
It sure looks a lot like Gnome, uses GTK and this release seems to add a bit of eye-candy features. Plus Gnome has put a lot of effort into improving performance in the last couple of releases. Is XFCE still really lighter than Gnome?
Well, the original question was, 'why should they' but of course you are right, they probably won't do what they promised unless the government somehow forces them. And that seems pretty unlikely.
Well, since Gateway bought eMachines in 2004, buying Gateway was a twofer! Two crappy computer companies for the price of one!

Actually, the page zoom at least is being worked on. That's what the Cairo backend is all about.

Even rechargeable batteries have to be replaced every few years.
Actually you can easily 100 free:

BTW, there is also http://audiolunchbox.com/ if you are not into the subscription plan.
Just because MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 both start with the same 4 letters doesn't mean that the formats are at all similar on the inside.
"A lot"? Maybe you can enlighten us and list more than one.

If you had switched to Comcast you'd be switching all over again to Time Warner.

* Chatteremail (Treo)
* Outlook Express
* Outlook 2000 and newer
* Sony Ericsson Smartphones
Probably more.
No.

Because they promised they would and we paid them $200 billion for it.
