    When is the last time Gates has been right about anything ?

    Free hardware?? Yes cars will be free too but, the Gas will cost you a mint.

    This is the most absurd thing... It's the other way around Mr. Gates. Hardware will NOT be free but the Software will. Even if you count lease deals, and hardware as a lose leader to get people on the payment plan. The hardware is NOT free.

    I see the same thing with cell phones. The phones are NOT Free, they are a lose leader. Just like in the Fastfood biz. Do you think that folks are making money on 1 buck bugers ? NO but that 1.50 you spent on a Soda covers the loss and make them money.

    DUH .. I find it bothersom that the richest man could be so thick. Now can you say DUMB luck? yes I thought you could.

    The Socket shuffle is only for no-smp workstation CPUs. The Opteron chips will remain socket 940.

    No .. its the HT links and on board Memory Controls that help the Opterons win. The beat them 32bit or 64bit. I have not seen any test that show Dual Xeons doing anything better then the Opterons with the exception of puting out more heat. Please show us a Link to said test.

    Buy Opterons .... They scale better. Dual systems.. its about neck and neck with Xeons but go to quads and the Opterons eat Xeons for Lunch. Oh .. and the Opterons are cheaper too. It's a no brainer folks. It wall take alot more then copying AI64 from AMD to put the Xeons on top. Indeed soon with how the Opterons scale they will eat up the Itantics too.

    That is my answer too. I have been asked tens of times by interviewers if I know perl. I always tell them, I have never found anything I could not do with shell scripting. And why make things more involved not every system has perl installed and then there are all the mods and things. BAH ...

    Every system has a shell of sometype. I find myself more intrested with python, if I have time to learn some now tricks. That is the yard I am diggin in.

    WPD is the Standard format for Lawyers because it stays the same. Some cases drag on for years. You cant have a format change like word is know for messing up your files.

    Some dude cut me off in traffic and because I am a law minding citizen I deem it was an act of Domestic Urban Terrorism. I was so frightened by the way they were driving. It put the fear and terror in to minds of anyone driving on that public throughfare.

    They have no right to sell things they do not own. That is called fruad. Did they know they did not own it. YES that is why they are in court. They had no right to send those letters out while the case is on-going.

    But I would suspect they would have used a private carrier to avoid such things.

    I watched the superbowl in HDTV ... so even tho I have a Tivo. My digital outputs go right to my TV. So .. I never touch my TIVO remote while watching football or any other content that is in HDVT format.

    yea ... 400 bucks can get you a DLT drive. I would rather use that for backups. They you can keep a copy off site .. In case of a very bad event. A fire safe is not always going to protect you.

    There is a solution to all these problems. It is the Fair Tax Act. It would fix all of these problems. If you value America get off your duffs and tell your REP to sign on to the bill and get it on the floor.

    I am not joking .. if this bill gets passed the USA is be strong for years to come. Our biggist problem will be lack of workers.

    Read up and learn. It's your Country, A huge problem with the USA now is, nobody is thinking long term. This needs to change.
