I myself LOVED the guyver movies, they were awesome. The sounds affects were great (That meyowing buzzing noise when the evil guys would attack things).

Sure it wasn't the best acting in the world, but it was entertaining and had a semi decent plot behind it.

Now I'd love to see Dragon Ball Z on film just to see what they could try to do to make it look like the show in any way. Would goko seam as strong as he does on the TV show, who bulma dress in that sexy anime outfit, would they cast simular actors for Goku Gohan, Goten? Would this be in an alternate universe ala Highlander 4, or would they create a "after cell, before majin boo" type deal.

Anyone with more information, post it!
I'm more than interested about this.

Holy crap! Excuse me for being a doubting thomas, but can you point to some evidence about the $0.21 tax on CD-R (Data - not audio). If your right about that, I think I might seek out a lawyer and try to sue the RIAA. I'm not kidding at all.

See, as an indipendent musician, I press my songs to CD-R's that I sell at shows I play, online, and through mail order. Now, I've known about the whole CD-R Audio scam for a while, and that's why I've never purchesed a CD writter that requires one of these taxed CD-R Audio discs. I mean, common! Why should the RIAA, who are by all means my main competitor, get any cut of the money I make off of selling my music? What kind of mafia extortion bullshit is this? But if it's true that regular CD-R's (data) are "taxed" as well, I think the RIAA owes me *ALOT* of money.

Once again, I'm not kidding. Are you an indie musician too, who is using CD-R's as your sales medium? Sue the RIAA. Talk about an abusive monopoly -- this should be the definition in Websters.

Come to think of it, this should piss off more than just musicians. How many companies back up server data (or whatever) onto CD-R? Should record labels get a cut of the money you spend on CD-R's, even though it's used for data?

So, anybody got any links/etc to back up this claim? I think it's time to try to rape the RIAA for some money for a change. Turn the tables, so to speak.

Few days after I switched to slack with my new found knowledge and used that X server from their site.
I suspose a few others out there used SuSE for this same reason, but soon after left beacuse of the lack of control.

I just don't see anything that mandrake has done for the community, people should donate money for kernel.org's bandwidth, osdn, but Mandrake? What about redhat (which mandrake was earlier based from, "redhat with kde" as some say).

I do believe they have hard coded something into the linux system to deny reading of CD-R releated discs, I offer this assumption because of these following lines of text I have read at the faq (Need to kill time for post thingy limiter in alotted minutes, you know?):

Can I play CD audio discs using Linux (for PlayStation 2)?
No. The system is only able to read PlayStation and PlayStation 2 CD-ROM and DVD-ROM discs. You may play audio CDs by first shutting down Linux and resetting the console with the audio CD in the drive.

Now I don't own a PS2, but since it says in the FAQ that Audio cds, can infact be read and played (And I must say, the PS1 games can still be played) It is physicaly possible for you to read normal cds (re: not dvds). With this understood I do sustain that you will be able to read CD's and CD-R's under linux with modifyed/hacked (illegaly or legal) versions of said software provided by Sony.

However, I may be completly wrong and have no clue what I am talking about so I offer anyone to clear this up for me.

now compare that "how long ago" to the release date of the japanese ps2 kit, now take that date, times it by two point 6, then take away approximitly 2% of that answer and now you have the time when they finished the work on porting PS2 to linux. To get the start date, simply times everything by 2 and add 4 years onto that.

Then I suddenly got wift of why they argue. I guess just because they use HTML as a standard to display documents within the operating system means they can't remove IE.
This works in theroy, but I am sure they could of picked a better standard (CSS?) to display pretty objects. With this said, I do believe it is possible to remove the HTML rendering abilitys completly, however, the cost would be the Ugly-Pretty App/Remove programs dialog. and maybe something else I do not use.
