It sickens me that this is hosted by Lucent, but it does the job.

I guess I am ignorant of something here, but why does this bother you?

I was always under the impression that the reason SquareSoft doesn't develop for anyone buy Sony these days was because Sony owns SquareSoft. As soon as Sony had it's own console, why would they develop for their competitors? The reason Final Fantasy only comes out for PSX now.

The Sega Dreamcast is coming out with a VGA adapter that allows you to play your dreamcast through a VGA monitor, instead of your TV to get a higher resolution. I haven't seen this product in stores yet, but certain games you can already buy list themselves as compatible with the adapter.

I think the snow shovel is a little under rated right now, I mean with nuclear winter on the horizon, a lot more people might want to have some snow shovels around.

Does anyone else find it interesting and almost slightly irritating that the BBC does a hell of a better job reporting NASA events and stories better than American journalists? It seems that Americans no longer find this type of thing important, which is a pity. No wonder NASA keeps getting their budget cut.

I was under the impression that most of the mission critical systems where very well shielded 80386s, they are protected by lead or something, and it would be to hectic to replace, and the shuttle doesn't need any more computational power anyway. If you needed some serious numbers crunched, you would do it on the ground.
