Short interest, btw, is a measure of traders that are shorting the stock. Shorting a stock is when you borrow a stock and sell it. Then you buy it back at a later time. People use this when they are really confident that a stock will go down, eg SCOX is expensive now (>11 dollars). If you short the stock and it falls to 1 dollar once people realize what kind of crap sco is shoveling, then you buy and you make 10 dollars per share (just as if it had gone to 21 and you bought it with a long position)
The market is deciding! It decided that it wants Lexmarks at an unbelievably cheap price and it wants others to supply the ink at a fair rate. Lexmark is USING legislation (dmca) to make generic refills die a quick death.
Of course whether or not blame lies with the manufacturer or the software is a different issue. In the event of a crash, let's agree that when the hardware fails it will be called a segfault and when the...oh wait
It seems that if you are too lazy to get out to vote or at least vote in absentia via mail, then you shouldn't be voting. I would hate to see the process for choosing our leader be modeled after American Idol.

This may be off topic but that is true with many foods. Italy did not have tomatos before new world exploration, so all the sauce based dishes came later. In Tampa, Florida (where I live) we eat Cuban Sandwiches, though there is nothing Cuban about them, in fact in Cuba they are called Italian or Mixed Sandwiches.
Which brings to mind a variation on a cliche, "You are never a profit in your own land."
My konqueror browser is spoofed as IE. I probably should change it, because I have only need it once.

Your assuming that people in lower wage jobs don't like thier (sic) job. Actually, my brother-in-law likes his job...He makes about $60-75K a year and has a great house
Of course, the fact that Chavez is a communist (his support of Castro, a brutal tyrannical dictator, isn't exactly a secret) has nothing to do with anything right?
Funny story for ya. When I was in high school (way back in 1999) we used VB. My father asked if we were going to learn PASCAL (as that is what he grew up on) I looked at him dumbfounded. Realizing how far behind the times he was, he asked "What is PASCAL passe?"
Precisely! The coolest part of the movie relates to what you were saying.
Neo "Something feels different"
Then he precedes to stop the sentinels in "real life".
Hmmm...interesting, isn't it? Those in the matrix have a "choice", but choice is "merely an illusion between those who have power and those who do not". Zion is part of the Matrix! Picture the "Matrix" as been a little "for loop" inside of a bigger matrix.
I can't wait for Novemember.
PHd's don't mean anything, if you get them in a useless subject.
As a slight aside, Neo is always the "One" because when he talks to the architect one of the monitors says "There were three before me!" or something to that effect.
I whole heartedly agree. The 8k price tag is almost worth it. I went to Epcot's innoventions at Disney World and could not believe the unbelievable clarity of the T221.
If you are going to Disney World, you need to go stop by there.
Seriously, it looks as good or better than high quality photography!
How about switching majors? I went from CS to EE for a number of reasons one of which was the tendancy of farming out work to 3rd/2nd world countries.

Well...if you want to nit pick it would be *n?x
We all know what he is talking about so it is no big deal.

Say, I resend(done with bold) that!

You realize that it is a contraction of "Web log" right?

So 60-75k is not "good money"?

What's wrong with class envy? I want to be rich, don't you?

So what are the other two cartoons? Can you give a link? I have never seen them, it might be interesting :)

It (HOV) stands for High Occupancy Vehicle.

Have you seen Blue Curve on Red Hat 9? That desktop looks better than anyone I have seen ever. Now if only it would be KDE instead of a mutant hybrid.
--Joey
And what the hell does that have to do with the Senate?
I agree with you about term limits. 3 Terms for the Senate and 9 for the House would be sufficient.

Right.....look above...it was a pun, I think it shows your ignorance more than it does mine.

DING DING DING, you are a winner!
Everyone else who assumes I was arrogant doesn't have much of a sense of humor.

Oh wait, so you mean, spammers do what they do for shits and giggles? I always thought THAT was their job.

Will it have a high quality camera so I can get a bitchin wallpaper?
Take all the humidity, temperature, and chemical tests you want. but I want to see red mountains cool rocks and a three eyed green man walking around!
